Click here to view the image in its original dimension. Applied tighter lining from Iro's lessons, and squeezed this out! How much tighter can I make it? Let's find out! |

Braking point and duration and lining are both very important. I don't understand why you guys are behind on iro, but even in the US we're running quite fast. The boost is hard to manipulate but certainly can be felt

Well, I cant brake any later; else I come through the turn too fast and kill my boost off. It's possible our machines aren't in the best shape and I wouldnt be surprised if the accelerator pedals were damaged because of idiots stomping on it. Also note that I dont use a course car. If you made an Iro guide of how you guys run though, we could infer some of the things you're saying.

Hmm, I was able to do a 3'06.7 with a FD3S6. Are you using the "gutters" in the beginning and in some of the corners throughout the course? If your lining is good enough you should feel them pull slightly. It's been awhile since I've used a good braking car (using cappu lol), but with those cars I do 38 exit out of first corner and 42 out of the left turn before cp4. Brake down to 39 for the right hander after cp1 and after shifting up brake almost right away to do the left hander at 45. This would be really complicated to just talk about it, but it's unfortunate I couldn't just show you in person Besides my jumps still aren't very good and I'm having trouble maintaining the boost all the way through cp4 to the end

Yeah, the small leaf filled gutters. There's a risk of me scraping the inside, but usually I pull through without any issues. Nothing on the hairpins though that can help me out. The right hander after the CP1 checkpoint is naturally taken at 40-39; then I come into the left turn directly after it at usually 44 speeds; sometimes 42 if my brake foot is tense. Nah, I do see what you mean. The thing we have to understand though is that an FD can hit 160 on Akina's first DH Section. an RX8 cannot, no matter what you do to it. A video, maybe?

I have a HUGE problem with me running out of boost, which is, like, odd. I watched videos that lacked braking at certain corners, but I can't seem to balance that with a careful run. |

Try taking it easy at 1Cp to 3Cp, use less steering input don't bang wth the apex, but try to maintain tight at the apex. Last Cp use less break n push the speed more I try that wth my GC8V I could get 3'08"XXX for Happo OBD and 3'06"XXX for Happo IBD

Wow. I can only manage a 3'25'xx on Akina DDH. I don't know what's missing, not ft or turning speed is 77 < x < 90. I really don't know.

I guess its hard to improve by watching only videos alone because imo, pedal work is really important and things like tapping of the accelerator to save boost or advanced braking techniques is only possible when there is someone to actually guide you. It seems that you are a Singaporean, so where do you usually play at? You can come to Jurong Point if you are not living in the east. Sometimes you will get to see DD-SC at night. I guess my friend TERXD might be interested in your Happo IB...
