is there anyway to boost your car or a s13 while you doing in a straght away?

dont hold the brake before a battle...or if you mean to increase acceleration on the straights, dont hit the walls and shift at the right times.

Yeah, there really isn't anything that's going to make your car faster, except the way you drive it. The ONLY thing that does help you catch up or speed up, is the boost. Remember though, for the boost to work, you musn't hold the brake before you race, and you have to be racing someone, not the computer. You also have to be BEHIND the person, because boost is used as an aid for the car that falls behind.
