I disagree with that general statement... a manual car is faster than it's automatic counterpart my auto '88 bmw 325i saloon can murder my dad's manual '84 bmw 318i coupe anyday of the week but up against a manual '88 bmw 325i I'd eat exhaust fumes

Thats sorta like saying a manual civic would loose to a automatic Supra. Power still plays a roll in it. Just because you manual doesn't mean your always gonna win. |

I know..I was doing that on purpose cuz he said that manual always beats auto. and I said I disagree...manual beats its automatic counterpart. SEEE ehhe then I gave examples why his theory is flawed.

it's more like "driving a car" than an automatic transmission...and are you saying that F1 and some Lemans drivers aren't really driving their cars? cuz they use systems that are like bmw's smg system. like ferrari's paddles and stuff.

those are semi-automatic transmissions. downshifts automatically but you have to up shift yourself. but ya, to some extent I agree with you.

Then they have that one launch button that makes the tires screech!! o my my, only 30 hard launches are covered in the warranty!! hehe, smg is fun! Toyota has that option on their MR-S, and Ferrari has it on some of their models. |
