Yah a lot of people are back for ID5 even those who gave up ID3 and never played ID4.

As for times, team mate has broken a car model record with his R32 and the majority are on Akina DH.

it is decent. which means you got a fairly decent lines and you don't unnecessarily burn out your tires.

but i'm sure you can do better. say... break the 3'20 barrier be very possible. even with a near stock car thumbsup.gif

my stock sil80 is 3'20 after 1-2 tries with major room for improvement.

i have a question ... you saying abt the tires right. if we burn out our tires we have to keep changing them during the parts section? and how do i activate the boost effect?

no need to change. it is more of how you drive. that is the reason too much drifting is bad in this version cos it slows the car down.

since you get 3'22.. i'm fairly sure you are driving it mostly grip style already.

think of this as a form of tire management. (a recurring story in ID anime races)

same for boost effect. think of it as a side effect of 'saving' your tires. with or without controlling the boost effect, its possible to to drop below 3'20 for sure

experiment.. you are doing fine so far =)

Hmmm...finally got the idea on the boost effect or the tire wear thingy. Did a 3'12'4 down Akina DH with my Levin.

Akagi DH 2'52'2 but believe can be better. Since WR for Levin is 6 seconds faster...

I have no idea how to get near those WR times for Akagi....are you supposed to half gas or play with the pedals before exiting corners to maintain the speed or what? =s

Yes thats one way of noticing whether the rocket start is there.. .the screen moves like the wind.. it's so fast that you cannot control the driving line.

If you want to know how much you're missing, just stop the car somewhere on CP3 and then run the rest of the course normally. Your CP4 should be a good second or more faster than normal.
