After months and months of endless searching, I've finally managed to dig up a working and fresh torrent of Racing Lagoon. It's not mine, but it's legit - I've run it in ePSXe just fine (though the OpenGL2 plugin seems to break car models, bleh). I think you need the usual Square SPU fixes. It's clonecd format wrapped in a RAR.

I don't have much information on the game, so in lieu of a decent writeup (I can't really do it justice) I'll just link to the Racing Lagoon thread in Gaming Chat.

Racing Lagoon thread

There's also a small walkthrough on GameFAQs, here's an indirect link:

GameFAQs Racing Lagoon FAQ page

It's pretty good so far - I think it was well worth the wait to track down (and the impatient staring at the uTorrent window, cursing my lousy connection for twelve hours). I'll try to seed this as much as I can.

In return, if anyone can point me to the actual OST, that would be wonderful. The PSF rip is missing quite a few tracks.

Is it possible to put that on a disc and play it on PS2? I have AR Max, by the way. I really want to play this game, but my computer proves useless when trying to use PS2 emulator

@Hachi_Roku: I've seen rapidshare/megaupload links within torrent threads before (usually to allow reseeds and other suchlike) - and even some outside, so I assume that it's okay. A torrent would be very nice, too, but not required.

@EA11R: If you have a modchip, sure. If there's still such a thing as PS1 swap disks, and you possess some, you could also try that. Burned to an unmodded PS2 would obviously not work. It'd be a backup of a out-of-region game, after all (in the most likely case) so that'd be a no-go. A *real* Gameshark CDX may be able to boot it as well on either a PS1 or PS2. AR Max *might* be able to boot it, if it can handle booting original PS1 games.

Alternately, I suggest using Pete's software GPU plugin to ePSXe or pSX. (Attempting to play Racing Lagoon via PCSX2 would just be *silly* and is practically guaranteed to not work.) I was able to play the *vast* majority of PS1 games in software-render mode at 60fps (most of the time) using a disk image on a Duron 850 with 64MB of memory and a very abysmal video card by anyone's standards. (ATi Rage IIC 8MB: Crudest. DX5 support. Ever.)

If you have a modchip is possible.Other ways I don't know but maybe swap magic works.Another way try epsxe ps1 emulator.

I've downloaded a RL torrent and it worked fine for me, the program I used is CloneCD and because of that I'm still playing it upto this day.

BTW, I'm willing to share the zip file, PM me a reliable website and I'll PM the link to you.

Thanks Takumi26.. But after I reached the part after finishing the grand prix, the screen f***s up and it gets stuck on [SPEED] or something like that.. The background is S. Akasaki holding something with blazing cars everywhere.. It's somewhere after showing the guys with the white S14 and the Diablo TUNE RX7.. Please help.. Or make a tut on how to forcefully skip scenes.. P.S. I'm using a PSP.. If someone knows how to convert my psp-psx save into a pc-psx save please post a tut so I can try it on my PC if it works.. That's the only problem so far...
