Writing is writing. Reading comprehension is reading comprehension. You'll find that both are lacking on the internet, but in this instance I believe it's clear which one has dropped the ball.

Thread Derailment -1

There's been stories about why he shot himself
According to ABC 7, Blake's family said his death was an accident.
They claim the teen had searched his house for the gun after he had heard a noise, fearing it was an intruder.
He was clearly more worried than usual because a suspicious human being had been in the neighborhood in the last handful days.
- From FCHornet.com

More detail from another site -
According to ABC 11 Eyewitness News, Hannett’s family believes the boy was on FaceTime when he heard a noise in the home. The family said he took a weapon that was kept in the home and went looking for a potential intruder after hearing the noise. When he returned to his bedroom, he laid the gun down on a surface and it accidentally discharged.

It is unknown whether his friend witnessed the boy’s fatal shooting on FaceTime. If so, how much did he see?
- inquisitr.com
But! If the gun was on a 'surface' whether it be counter or desk.. something to be head-level with him, how would it end up closer to him, under his chair? Every site citing ABC7 says "They[the parents] claim the teen had searched his house for the gun after he had heard a noise, fearing it was an intruder."
How would they know? Wouldn't the person he was on the phone with know? And how come this person hasn't come forward with details? It's all from the parents perspective.

The homeowners arrived while the officers were speaking to neighbors, and a search of the home revealed the teen slumped over in a chair at his desk with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, police said.
A .38-caliber handgun was found on the floor under the chair.
- from cbs chicago
Whatever theory or story is true, I think we need to hear what his friend has to say about what happened.

You may be right, Falbere, but when you deal with constant goofing up on a daily basis with Rudy, it just isn't that easy to mind your manners.

Wouldn't the area of the wound also determine a factor to suicide?
Did he aim for the temple, did he stick the gun in his mouth aiming upwards.
I did not see anything that stated where in the head, just shot in the head. That really does not define anything, unless forensics saw something that would point to suicide.

The gun was placed on a surface and discharged? Bullshit. A weapon has to be ready to fire in order to fire. Which means it's negligence, not an accident. There is a difference.

If you read the whole post and didn't understand it, your comprehension fails. If you didn't read the whole post, comprehension still fails because you didn't comprehend what wasn't read.

Either you didn't read or you can't comprehend. Pick one.
