Believe, that Avex Trax again will change the graphics. I like the graphics of series 22X. Every sleeve had clear and strong color of the main backgroud. Last ten CDs may be defined only by these colored strips on the down right corner. Typically, clubs will get to play a minute and a half-ish of a song for the routine before it is released on disc. I think it helps encourage the Japanese base to buy the albums! Producers who weren't DJs themselves would send other DJs on the rave circuit dub plates of an upcoming track, as these were easy to copy and distribute. Artists who were DJs would released mixed CDs with upcoming material so the masses could hear, so when the vinyl came out, peeps would get it (as mp3 releases weren't a thing back then for many underground genres). |
