I'm totally not into this game so you guys should let me know what you want.

I notice a ID4 video thread below so if someone wants to keep editing the first post for new vids, I can sticky that thread or something.

Any other suggestions, please post it up.

Well, the place could use an "Is this a good time?" thread, like the IDAS main section. Should I start one?

Also, there are a few personal "garage" threads around. It might be okay now, but it might get a bit cluttered if there everybody started making their own thread...

Maybe add a garage thread where everyone can share their garage, car pics, etc.?

should we keep the Q&A thread as one thread or as a sub-forum like the ID3???

and about the garage thread, maybe you can make a sub-forum for pics like for garages, cars and avatars

Anything that involves making new sub-forums and sections requires Perry. I've been msging him about a revamp of this place and wang3 forums so we'll just have to sit tight and wait for him.

I guess it will eventually take over as the main section instead of V3, and V3 will be relegated to be in a subsection.

Hmm, just an idea for the forum hierarchy if it gets updated:

So, basically:
1. Create an Initial D Arcade Stage 3 section in the IDAS main section,
2. Move the Q&A forum from the main section to the IDAS3 section.
3. Move all the posts in the IDAS main section to the IDAS3 section.
4. Create a Q&A sub-forum in the IDAS4 section (the earlier the better, seeing as the IDAS4 main section is getting cluttered with lots of question threads lately)
5. Restrict posting ability in the IDAS main section to keep it clean. (Everyone should still be able to post in the respective version threads and team section though)

Another idea would be to move the video section to the IDAS3 section, and create a separate section for IDAS4, but then that might require changes to initiald-arcade.com as well as to the forum hierarchy...

Looks good, but wouldn't it look a bit funny to have no threads under IDAS main at all?

forums for the idas is kinda messy...

probably just need to be organized...

How about a seperate thread where we can list location of IDV4 machines, I've been trying to find a simple way to locate the nearest machine to me and have been unable to do so as of yet. I can start the thread if you need me to and try to keep it upto date by searching the forum for places where people talk about arcades with the machine. Mostly just want to compile it into a database that we can search by city name and find them using the search function. I will check back on this thread to see if you think it is a good idea but send me a msg if you get the chance so I can start compiling arcades.

Thanks I am going to post a thread in a few minutes I appreciate it. I will start out with asking people to post of the ones they know then I will start to search for some tonight.

We've got a pretty decent "show off your car" thread going, but what I think a lot of us would like to see is just an all-out gallery with every available part for every car, like how the official site had with the tune courses in v2 and v3, as well as a few fan sites.

Someone with a really good, quick digital camera (I don't have one, otherwise I'd volunteer) could, for example, make a white car and when they got to garage tune, highlight the part and just go snapshot, down arrow, snapshot, down arrow, snapshot, down arrow, snapshot, down arrow, all through the various manufacturers.

I don't know about you guys, but sometimes the 30 seconds or so we're afforded just aren't long enough... and the more finicky of us will sometimes buy something hastily, then waste points buying something else later... which if you're like me and only get to play for an hour or so every 3 weeks is a huge pain.

Pin or Sticky or whatever it is called the Thread of "You know You're addicted to Initial D" and "Because of Initial D" cause it's funny and I like it so much,but recently people aren't paying attention to it because it's one the back later Posts...

Stickies are reserved for threads that provide information, just because a thread is funny doesn't make it stick worthy.
