Whichever end you cut off is in the process of falling off a cliff. But I wouldn't know, I don't work for an automotive magazine  TL;DR: yes, yes it does need to have the wheel, the whole wheel, and preferably a bit more than just the wheel to look 'comfortable' on the page. |

Bottom text is pretty dang good, though it might have been better left just to "Thirteen" and a little larger without taking up any more space. In most cases with sigs, small/thin text should almost be avoided, but needs special attention when you choose to use it. If you want to use text, think bigger and bolder.
