There's not a whole lot different with regards to an S2K in Iro compared to similar cars. You stick to the inside, turn so that your car ALMOST reverses itself, but then you catapult scott free when you reach the end of the turn and straighten out. Wall rape.

Personally I never got that down and thought it was gay, but then again there's no V4 within close proximity of me to make me bother getting it down.

Start up is start up. Give it gas and shift when you hit the redline. As far as I know, there's no tire management here, so there's no need to hold back or anything.

yea i really want to try wall rape...
but when i do it what happens is i end up going backwards.
and i rage hard and then i end up losing cause i lose so much speed.

is this because i'm doing it too early?

Yes. When you manage to spin yourself out trying to wall rape, you're doing it too early. That, or you're not on the gas while you're doing it.

Iro really just takes practice because of it's odd and illogical playstyle.

Were that the case, I would have gotten it down in no time.

I'm 100% sure that it's not as simple as leaving a brick on the accelerator pedal and then controlling your gearing. I recall some kind of braking and gas-off, though I can't recall the specifics.

It's been a while since I even touched an ID4 machine; what with ID5 having replaced the ones in prime locations. You could probably have some of the more active members in the arcade community help you out, but since the majority of them have V5 as well, not likely.

Youtube might serve you better. Though, again, ID4's old, and has all but been phased out by 5.
