Posting this because it seems that some persons don't know - hopefully we still have some time.

As you may or may not know, CompTIA will require re-certification for their credentials as of Jan 1st 2011. You will be exempt from this if you take the A+, Network+ and Security+ before the end of this year.

I'm advising that you register at Pearson Vue or Prometric (I'm registered at Prometric) and set your date and go do the exams. Books are cheap and some versions can be purchased as ebooks if you rather that.

And FYI people - I checked on the Prometric site and it seems that no dates are available after October 19th. This could either be because they don't plan that far ahead or because the tests cannot be taken past this date.
