I just want to know what other racers use. I use 7 and i think that it's more realistic and easier to control.

I once tried using 10 while driving on iro and felt like i was half dead afterwards. laugh.gif

Please say why you use that particular sensitivity.

lawl. i use 4/5 since its easy to control,
but not that much till you lose control,
(1 on iro sucks, if you lose your grip,
- try straightening your car, by the time
you're done, your opponent is like freaking far)
and 10 is obviously killing since you'll get exhausted -.-
oh yeah so 4/5 is right for me,
....but thats just me ermm2.gif

Shinrei: lol.

I use 4...not to light and not to heavy. Perfect for feeling the car and countersteering.

Actually I think 3 is the balanced one but for me after playing a few games I get use to the wheel and 3 is too light.

I use 1, mostly just one good flick and round and round the steering wheel goes. Or maybe my arms are too weak for the high levels?

if you have the stamina for 10 it would probably give you so much more control.
i use 9 just because its my favorite number, and it helps me =P

After playing for weeks and getting better strength, I changed to 7 and the control was so much better, but at 1st while i drive using 7, the back of the car tend to hit the outside often...

I use 8-9 because IDES steering stiffness is really stiff. smile.gif

(8-9 in the arcade matches stiffness 3 in IDES)

i use steering10 smile.gif
better control -> better timing,
at least for me ermm2.gif
but apparently right now the machines at WhiteSands are so wrecked
that even at steering10 settings, the wheel feels like steering0 (seriously!) pinch2.gif

Using 1. Personally I think it's easier to use as all I have to do is flick the wheel a little and it's already full turning then another flick and it's back in the middle.

I use 3, I'm not sure why, I just did and got used to it as time went on... I guess it's like 1 in that I can actually steer one-handed with more efficiency than most. I like it, too... so yeah.

I use 4 cuz I haven't bothered to change my settings since I turned Force Quit on. XD

I'm thinking of trying out lighter steering levels once I get enough free time.

My one-handed steer requires 2 or 3.

I got for the 6-7 sensitivity, depending on which car I'm driving... hmm, usually, I try making AP1 the 7 while the AE86 the 6 (cause my wrist hurt after 10 consecutive plays). But that's just me...

I changed back to 5 sensitivity. Easier for me as it is lighter, so I will be able to use less energy to turn the steering wheel, drive with one hand and relax, so it can prevent myself from being too "hot" in the game and getting injured. laugh.gif
