u could pull a 180 with teh handbrake, but he means doing a 180 degree turn from a stand still
His FC should have a torsen LSD i dont see whats so hard about it, its like doing a roll on burnout, or a doughnut. practice it, and im sure ur FC will manage it with no troubles | ||||

The only real purpose an e brake serves to help a car spinning is it momentarily locks the rear wheels causing them to loose traction and begin sliding. This works fairly well in a FF car, especially on a slick surface. The same thing can be done in a FR that lacks the power to break the rear wheels loose, or you could alternatively slam a lower gear to achieve the same results. Slamming a lower gear is an easier method, but it puts a lot of strain on your drivetrain. If you pay attention in the mangas and anime Takumi uses this technique in the hachi-roku (hopefully i spelled that right). Once again, an itegral part of getting a FR to power around is an LSD (limited slip differential). and don't try the cheap trick of welding your diff, that'll make it a pain in the ass to drive, though it'd teach you to drift real quick, with a rear end that has the wheels locked |

You can find one from 350 to 2000 for a new one and some rebuilt units for as low as 200.(ford nine inch) So really depends on what rear your lookin at. Locker makes a good one athough it's not really for handling as much as for drag and pulling. Richimond makes a good unit with the versitility you would need for autocross cars. |
