There's not really much to say for the GC8 apart it being an almost perfect starter car.

I tried someone's FT one, and while it wasnt what I liked to feel with handling, you would have to defy the game's physics to make it go sideways and drift. Agreed, the GC8 is stable as a rock and has more than acceptable punch in straight lines.

Hi, I'm new here (and also new on IDAS5), nice to meet you all
I use gc8, it's nice for turning and good at speeding
I only need to tune this ride so I could gain better speed

GC8 more of an uphill car than the MR-S.

Started with the Bunta's GC8. Very very stable and then added the 86 just cause I'm a fan of it. Since both the cars are stock, I stick with Impreza and loving the performance of it.

I have trouble using it on Nagao. Any tips?

{Hi, new to the boards but not new to the game}

I have a close-to-full-tune GBDF (7-7-5-3-3 or something like that) but I recently discovered the GDBF is one of the "worst" cars in the game according to rankings. Should I keep the GD or go for something else, maybe a GC? I also have an 86T.

For Nagao, just keep off the gutters and slow down more. Beginner tip.

U can play Lake Akina since it's a course car. I also had an Evo IV and it's rank is not very good but up til now, I have not delete it yet. laugh.gif

In nagao , if you're good enough , you can still use the gutters to your advantage.... if not , just avoid them.... and i guess GC8's a 5th gear car and the GDBF's a 6th gear car....both have many differences but following the anime , GDBF still isn't a characters car.... don't know why they prefer to use older cars in the anime series.... dry.gif

hi im new here... just a question. why is it when i pruchased the ecu for the gc8 my car seems to be slower. the power is not there in the mid rpms. you need to rev the heck out of the car just to make it accelerate. before i purchased the ecu its quite ok. did i do something wrong?

i don't think so... i myself have an FT'd GC8 wherein i've beaten story mode/LOTS 2x with it... and i still feel that it eats up boost faster than my RS...

That's all in your head. The power won't increase or decrase with the external modifications you do. Nor will your grip be influenced by a bigger spoiler.

If you felt slow after the ECU upgrade, maybe because you're not in the right RPM/Gear? All the ECU is supposed to do is decrease cornering speed loss, if the upgrade chart from V4 still holds true.

exhaust pipes are external upgrades... they don't do anything to your car except making your car look good on the outside.... i recommend you should save your points for more internal upgrades(engines) before tuning the outside of your car.... happy tuning... happy.gif
