| I dont think many people even know there is one there at Acme yet. Also a twin cabinet in Tacoma at Narrows Plaza Bowl, along with a WMMT3 twin. |

I played at Acme for the first time, the place absolutely owns Narrows interior. I won 4 races there, there were bunch of noobs. |

| LMAO OMG i completely forgot about this thread, and this forum....but yea update tho this thread is that i spoke to 3 managers at Gameworks, and they MIGHT be getting IDAS4 sometime in 08. but yea as of now im not in the capacity to be hitting the arcades for some ID action. if you guys want to plan a meet send me a message on aim because all my forums that im a member of is currently being ignored due to the fact that im in college n got alot to do. so if you guys want to plan a meet hit me up on aim. |

| wow i cant believe the difference in level between the 2 arcades. today i went to acme and saw that the TA for tsukuba is a full 13sec difference from gameworks. well i atleast made 2nd with a 3:03 pass correct me if im wrong. |

yea seems u noticed the problem too lol.... The car is somehow slower in GW, I guess it is the gas pedal issue..... I was stuck at 3'06" (tsukuba OB) at GW. But I did 3'02" at acme, first try and with crashes.....  |

Lol this thread still alive a bit. So Gameworks has ID4 now, I see. Anyways I went to Acme & Narrows when I was active. Only good dude at Acme back in the day was IoriChaos & only FT guy. So your the best in Narrows? Last time I played was during summer. I'm probably sheety now. Only daily people I saw there were a bunch of white dudes. I remember a red & yellow AP1. By the way, any 1.5 machines found yet? |

| well i call myself the best at narrows, but i merely have the best times for most of the maps. My friend has the best akina dhd time though, although I usually win the battles. He drives a trueno so he cheats with the course car =D man i dont want 1.5 cuz im gona hella suck !! AHH!! |

I don't think I did TA so probably not. If I did it is in Tsukuba or Iro just so I can feel how the physics work before doing Legends. What is your card name? Best times was by 2FAST last I checked. EDIT - touge, how does the gameworks point system work? never been there before. better to play there or at a arcade for best value. |

| well i own the top time in (dry only) tsukuba inbound, tsukuba outbound, iro downhill, myogi dh. My friend with a trueno has the top time in akina dhd and my friend with an fd has the top time in akagi dh none of us do uphill so yeah >.< but tahts about it for our times and whos the best so i consider me and my friends the best =D |

lol touge is right, Acme is closer. It's across street from Southcenter Mall which is much closer than Seattle. I live at NE Tacoma & go to Stadium. Going to Acme or Narrows pretty much take the same time for me but Acme a bit longer. What school? |

| Updated version 1.5 should be here soon for Narrows and Acme. I hope this is a good thing. If anyone has problems with the machines at Narrows, or Acme, please post them here. We like to keep our machines working the best they can. I check here at least every other day. Especially at Acme, please phone us yourself from your cell phones if a game is completely down. the people at Acme may not be too quick to call us for repair. Thx |

Sounds like a arcade mechanic or employee at Acme? Well leave us your phone number...we don't even know. I have only minor problems to note. Like the left machine at Acme...the seat doesn't stay locked when I move it up max. Either Acme or Narrows...one of the machine brake pedal feels loose. It's been awhile.  |

| Yes, I do remember you. I am open to tournament ideas. Especially at Narrows since it is near our warehouse. If someone wants to put one together, hit me with your proposal. We ask that all entry fees get returned to the players through the prize pool. Also that you can conduct the tournament in a professional manner on your own. we supply use the of the machine and any needed site logistics. |

| okay narrows is fine with me =D hehe but yeah so i guess we will try to organize a tournament i suppose if weezy and tougue support this. Hmmm so depending on wh en 1.5 comes in, we should use v1.2 as the platform. but if 1.5 comes in we should wait a couple weeks atleast so that players can get adjusted to the new physics and settings. We do have to figure out how we are going to work out brackets, rules, cost, prizes. BTW mvco, at the Narrows id4 machine, the left cabinet seems to have a slightly crooked steering wheel. I think that you have to hold it at a slight angle for the car t go straight. But then again I havent playecd in a week or two so it might be different now. Thanks |

Touge, I'm assuming you had the highest possible security for the DC2? You know that thing is a theft magnet & it's Seattle. I don't really see a increase of Type R in WA. There like the best bang for the buck so it's a popular choice. |

| umm those cars are probably pretty good its just that I dont know yet i still have to decide =D maybe ill just stick with the sti, ap1, and trueno lineup i have. Also, gameworks will go down in value if there is more people there, so if you want to battle and stuff probably head over to acme or narrows haha. | I do it ALL the time, no worries. I turn 180 minutes of gameplay into 180 games, which turns into over 6 hours for only $15. Gameworks only has 2 machines. The slow cabinets are at Gameworks. Play it and you can feel it. Though I hate the machines at Gameworks because of this, I don't want to go all the way down to Acme Bowl just to play it when we have one closer in Downtown. Although I must admit, I DO get frustrated when I see +1 Gameworks everytime and -1-2 at Acme Bowl after hitting that first checkpoint. The only reason I go down to Acme Bowl is to play Maximum Tune 3, that is, until Gameworks gets it since we only got Maximum Tune 2. So while I'm down there, I might as well play Initial D 4 as well. |

| There's something wrong with the sensitivity with the pedals at one of our arcades, so when you step on it, the cars typically go slower than other arcades. |

| Yes, both machines at Gameworks got the slow pedals. Gameworks' card system uses credits as well as time. So the card has 180 minutes = 180 credits in the machine. 1 swipe per minute = 1 credit. Not many people are aware of this system, so they just swipe freely however they want and make it last the 3 hours it's suppose to as opposed to us making it last for over 6 hours. It's a bit risky though because if we get caught, we would get kicked out and likely to get banned. The +1 and -1-2 is when you hit the checkpoint and it tells you how far off you are from the record, you know? |

lmao jerry your logic is in a way fawked up.....180mins yes but after 1 swipe you gotta wait 60seconds before you can resqipe your card. so in a sense you cant get 180plays from a 180min timecard.........geez and i thought you were a lil bit smarter than this......also i was doing this when erica the manager and patrick were around and they saw me doing this and they didnt care. they are more linient towards that now. so jus to recap 180mins =/= 180 credits. |

| if im not mistaken the record for tsukuba at GW is 2:55 to 2:58 im no so sure so there is a considerable amount of margin. | like i said some people got too much time in their hands to kill. i mean it was hella nice out in seattle today and you guys were inside playing video games like a bunch of queer. and lets not forget bro he wasnt sucking up to me. what he was referring to was YOUR homies hogging up the left side even tho they saw that some one else was waiting to get a turn. its people like you guys that take away the fun of racing games. and plus i got a call from him earlier today saying you guys were hogging up the whole machines so thats why he didnt get a chance to get a turn and he had to wait 3 hours jus to play. EDIT: lmao and i understand why he called you guys noobs perfectly. all you guys do is hog up the machines and power-level your cars. and to make things worse bro you guys dont care that other people not just you guys are waiting to get on the machine. so its common courtesy to just use one card as a place holder and not use 14 cards to block up the whole machine. its people like you that get things ruined for others. i mean the management are already getting complaints from other people about you guys taking it up and not letting people on. its like maxtune 2 all over again. remember that? i hope so because you guys were the ones that did that the MOST. |

If I remember correctly, KERVIN said he asked him if he wanted to play and he just said no, so what else were we suppose to do? Force him to play? It was just the LEFT side that they put the whole buncha cards up at, and even then, if he had put his card up there, we STILL would've let him go during his turn. We've had other people come too, and you know what, when we see them watching us, we ASK them if they wanna play, just like what we did to Weezy. If they say yes, then we let them on, if they say no, then so be it. So it was a nice day today and we were inside playing video games like a buncha queers... So, you're basically saying all the other people at Gameworks were "inside playing video games like a buncha queers" when it was a nice day as well. Yeah, great logic of thinking there. Just to let you know, I was OUT with my mom for about 6 hours before I arrived at Gameworks to play. |

| Let's talk on AIM. Oh, and I wasn't arguing, I was correcting you. Sorry, but I just had to give my .02 as well. One last thing, I DON'T spend all my time at Gameworks. I don't know about the rest of them, but I actually HAVE school to worry about more than video games and the only reason why we were there for the past couple weeks was because of the 3 hour time card deal for $15 Sunday-Wednesday ending at the end of the month. Other than that, I only go there around once a week, at most. |

| just to let you guys know, setting a record at gameworks isnt as easy as acme cuz gameworks machines are f**ked up. i got a 2 49 on lake akina in acme and hit 205 top speed while at gameworks i can only get 2 55 and get 193 top speed. its the connection, somethings probaly wrong with the wires or routers. and to any seattle ppl calling us noobs. ill admit i am pretty noob at ID4. but i know nobody on here can beat me at wmmt3 except EDD!E thats it. so i bet that if the boaters like michael and them went to acme, theyll shave 5-10 sec off their records like i did too. its just the router/connection there is better than gameworks therefore the TA times are better. so if anybody is callin michael and them noobs, come to gameworks, well pay for your games, and i 99% guarantee you can not beat them at ID4, cuz up here the machines are slower so its harder to hit good TA times. and the best record at gameworks for tsukuba is like 2 53 XXX and i bet if that guy went to acme it would be like 2 49 or less. BTW: to ALL tacoma players, have you guys seen a white evo 6 named C.S.R. or silver or white evo 8 named vic** (or something close to that) in wmmt3? Please PM me if youve seen him. |

| that was when i came back from a 2 month break. i was talking about dion or that weezy guy. i guarantee they would lose at wmmt3. and how many times to i gotta say this, TA at gameworks is hareder then ACME. so if you get a record at acme good for u, bet you cant bet ur acme record at gameworks. and what jerry said was true, kervin did ask that guy if he wanted to play and the guy said no and shook his head. seriously, he couldnt even beak takumi whle ALL the boaters could beat them. shit michael beat the game 10+ times. while i was never into ID3/4 i just play it to kill time when im waitin for wmmt2/3. |

Lol, although the ping and I'm guessing the top speed is probably the same, the car just doesn't accelerate the way it would at other arcades, so there would be a huge difference in time when you Time Attack and results when you do Legend Of The Streets. It was my first time at Gameworks...don't know how the cards work so I didn't buy one until Dion came. I only play Initial D a lot during summer with off and on games once in awhile. I race against Ace in Acme when we both had only few internal upgrades. If he's been playing still, he can beat me. You have a FT FD yet by looking at your card...you haven't even beaten first round of LOTS.... Someone did ask me if I wanted to play & I neglected for the reason above but I saw at least two couples behind you guys looking & walking away & back to check when you guys will be done but yall just hogging on the machines. Obviously they don't play regularly & didn't have a card to place up. Besides if I were them I wouldn't ask a group of Asian people talking in Chinese with 10+ cards up top anyway. So you guys have any legit upgraded cars? At least I payed the real deal, play the game without force quitting (this shit is turned off at first lol..), & have fun. |

| Well, Weezy started it and you can see why we would flame him back after reading our posts. The thing is, we don't really wanna go anywhere else but Gameworks because it's just so damn far away and Gameworks is the closest arcade we got that's got Initial D 4 (Still waiting on Maximum Tune 3). The furthest we're willing to go is Acme Bowl and even then, they still are reluctant on going all the way down there just to play when we already have one in Downtown Seattle, although our pedals are messed up. Go to Gameworks on Thursday after 9. They sell 7 hour time cards for $10! That's 420 games! Enough to fully-tune 2 cars! Just buy it on Thursday and use it on Saturday because the time cards are 7 hours and Gameworks doesn't sell them till 9 and they close at 1. So that's only 4 hours and you lose that 3 the time card was made for. What you do is go at opening (10 AM) and just continue swiping all 420 minutes from the card into the machine, so it would last ALOT more than 7 hours. I'm PRETTY sure it's gonna last you till the closing time (1 AM). So, you basically turn that supposed 7 hours from the card into 15 hours of gameplay. Weezy: I don't even do Legend Of The Street... You were watching me for 3 hours, you should be able to see by then that I only Time Attack. Those couples were just watching us and it didn't even seem like they really wanted to play, just more interested in watching. You not having a card and not being able to play isn't our problem. The point was you said that we were hogging the machines and we wouldn't let you play when we asked you if you wanted to. |

| time cards? what jerry said is the best deal that gameworks has. 7hrs of gameplay for $10, normally $10 would only get you 160credits which is 8 games of ID4. but ONLY on thursdays, they have a 7hr card for $10. and for ID4, you can keeping swiping the timecard every 85secs (per swipe counts as one game). so thats a hell of alot of games for only $10 compared to buying credits which only get you 8 games for the same price of $10. even the online coupons arent as cheap as the thursday deal, online is $15 for 3hrs. but each game varies when using time cards, like it depends on normally how many credits it cost to play the game, example ID4 cost 20credits for nonmembers or 18 for VIP members. which ID simluator cost 25credits but when you use the time card instead it uses 5mins of how ever many hrs you got on there. that why i think playing is anywhere else and payin $1-$2 PER GAME! is a rip off. considering there the option of 7hrs (296 games @ 85sec per swipe) for $10. |

JERRY: i was thinking about that, on my other card when i make it on saturday , i was thinkin s2000, s15, then ae86. damn if you think about it $1US is $about $8 HK. and when we use $10US we get 296 games out of the 7hr time card cuz of damn 85sec wait instead of 60. and for $10US, HK only get 80 games. so we should be pretty damn happy that we dont use actual credits anymore lo. imagine how much $$ we would of spent if it was credits. lol 296 games at 18 credits each, if it was credits $25 would only give you 25 games cuz 450credits playin at 18credits per game. that like at least $500....lol god i love timecards. |

DIN got like 7 or 8 and his GF got 2 or more..that hella lol. i also counted all the cars i wanted, and since each card can only store 3 cars. ima need 5 MORE cards in order to have all the cars i want lol. so thats 15 more cars. haha buti doubt i will make it now since my 3 cars in my current card isnt even FTd. after all my 3 cars are FTd, ima start another card. then same process until i get all the 15 cars i like. haha |

| I can't call all the ID4 players at Gameworks...noobs since I haven't seen em all. I never said Dion was #1 in Gameworks but he's the only one I seen with some courtesy to others & don't powerlevel like addicts. NISMO...don't listen to all the shit your buddies are telling you. The R34 is a beast car. Like the AP1 it is decent on all maps but with the heavier steering & wide body it is a bit tougher but nothing you can't master. Like the FD, Evos, STi etc... it's a power car. Your right, the acceleration is absolutely good. I test drove stock R34 once on Iro and it's STOCK accel is stunning....perhaps enough to compete with near FT or FT underpowered cars. I think it's too late to say this but for power cars, upgrade the engine, suspension, and body first and worry about the accel and ECU later. I will get a R34 myself...most of you guys don't know how good it is? |

Best thing to do is test drive both cars & decide by how it drives. Stat wise it's GC8V, it's AWD but I heard it handles like an FR. Best TA map is Akina UH. The GTR is fine too..it's just a bit of a hassle with the heavier steering & wide body. |

| weezy, i noticed that the left wheel have more feedback than usual. and yea i HATE that seat. that was one of the reasons i couldnt get under 2 51 on iro DH. cuz i was stepin on brake then the chair slide back and my foot let go of both brake/gas pedals. the right machine was messed up "out of service" so couldnt play on it. dion: haha only chance for jerry is akagi. lol this saturday! me, eddie, jerry and of course all the boaters are gonna be at gameworks TAin/battling. gary TAed on tuskuba at ACME, he messed up and was only .1 behind lol. cuz you know how normally he would be hella quiet during TA then when he messes up he would go f**k! or SHUT UP! or start talkin about how he f**ked up. damn acmes records are easy to beat. too bad the wheels/seats are messed up. but i did get 1st for both directions of lake akina lol. 2 49 xxx for both directions. |

| I went to Narrows and played 1.5....one word: Oversteer lol. Instead of understeer like 1.2, 1.5 replaces it with oversteer. So if you turn into a corner too fast...you'll be sliding enough to go in circles heh. PC removed. No aura. No BGM picking. mvco...I'd also like to note that the left Narrows machine speaker volume is very low. The right is fine. mvco doesn't work on the gameworks machine. dion said the gamework mechanic will update in like 2-3 weeks? |

| forget about TAin on lake akina, for now.. ima be doin akina uphill. ALMOST got 3 21 xxx. i already got either a 3 24 9xx or 3 25 2xx with 2 minor crashes, and that was when the r34 was 77732, now its 77774. record is 3 20xx on left machine. perfected the first 3 sections. its the last section, i have to somehow find a line where i can stay in 6th gear instead of overrevving in 5th. ill get back to lake akina after i beat michaels 3 20, which will be really soon. but still remember that michael got the advantage since he played ID4 in HK/Macau, i think. thats why hes so quick. |

| Is your card purple or blue? If it's purple, no. If blue, yes. As far as what Dion told me, it started today or whatever. The BEST value: $25 in your card. You get 250 credits + 200 bonus credits = 450 credits!!! 2.0 credits per game (Usually, it's 20), 1.8 for VIP (Usually it's 18) Gets you 225-250 games!!! Oh, in case you're wondering, you NEED to put $200 into your card in order to become a VIP. |

Well I don't know all the regulars but there's always like 4-5 guys that I always see when I go there randomly. They are all decent I guess. Last time I went...I race against FT DC2...card name AKX. He seems to play too much lol. Best Acme player I saw back then was Iori with his FT AP1 when I first started playing with my new AP1. Don't know best player now. |

| was at acme around 6-8 for pool. played wmmt3 a few times. but ID4 is different now. you remember how michael got 2 54 1xx (tsukuba) on garys FT S2000 at Gameworks. gary couldnt even beat it at ACME and at acme you should kill you gameworks time easily!. otherwise think 2 54 minus like 5-8 seconds cuz of acmes machines lol. i forgot to read if it was 1.5 or not but im pretty sure it is now. also tuned fully tuned my r34 on monday. and tuned my evo9 a bit compared to 1-1-1-0-0(back then). trying to Ft the evo 9 tomorrow with the 3hr time card. just go to TA and then retire lol |

Then Din and his GF came and he lowered the tsukuba record to 2 56xxx. then he kept lowering it, it might be at 2 55 or 254 by now. im goin to GW tomorrow after school to get teh 3hr time card with food. then ill go on saturday or sunday to FT my evo 9. also did you lower the wmmt3 c1 record to 2 52 1xx? or was that oscar? and my r34 still has the wangan crown lol. its been almost 2 weeks. i raced it and lost.. by 10m at the end. hit a damn r2. |

I could lose my card data yesterday when I was trying to renew the card..... (The expired card came out, then error message appeared while renewing) Luckily they found the backup data in the machine so I got my card back ^-^ Else I need to start all the way from 0.......:/ |

Gameworks, the one on the right... I put in 6 credits for renewing, then error occured after I took the expired card. Someone came and fixed the machine(seems like some problem with the reader), used the backup data to recover the card. Then he put in 6 credits and let me try to renew again |
