The event that has been in planning since 2005 took quite a few twists but it's happening. Tomo will be in Calgary on the 11th and we're going all out for records on IDv3. I got down and dirty in my arcade and cleaned the damn dirt and grime out of the pedals to make them stop randomly ungassing and records will be set! So far I've pushed 19'7 akagi dh and Tomo found a perfect condition cab in philly and did 18'5 happo ob. We'll be in Calgary playing what we can for 3-5 days. The arcade here will close down July 26th so this is seriously going all out. After that, we'll be in Vancouver for a bit, seeing what's up and then our grand destination, Hong Kong! Right now I don't know how much ID we'll get in, probably just going for a meet and greet, maybe test out D4 for a bit but it will suck cause we're really into D3. Might travel around a bit to other locations. All updates will be here! The shit is happening NOW~~ This post has been edited by razorsuKe on Jul 10 2007, 12:45 AM |

Too bad too cause he missed some fun stuff like every day. I also set this Model Record a couple days ago but decided to post today cause 15 is a better number http://ranking.segarosso.com/inidas3e/n2_r...&num_1=0&car=32 Almost set it with a broken wheel that spins 360 degrees a week ago! LoL! |

I might have to close this thread cause I seriously have no idea where the hell Tomo is. Well at least I'm setting shit. I'm actually pursuing a world record as I'm really close right now. cp1 is faster than taro's best by 0.1 cp2 b*tched me on that run, f**k, my best is .1 which is 0.1 slower than taro's best cp3 I must have ate shit cause that's slower than anything I've ever seen, at least 0.2 slower. Taro does .2 cp4 is good, taro is about the same but I think his best is .5 all in all, I can get .8s on cp1 again, cp2 and 3 I can get 0.2 faster but then cp4 is hard to do again. Well I'll definately put this together some time and aim to at least beat Japan. Tomo is definately missing out cause I stay till whenever I want, free drink/slurpee, ice cream, food, the whole arcade is ours after 10pm and it's a bar/restaurant too so they have lots of stuff. I can't get any camera working otherwise I'd take vids of how sweet it is but I do have pics. I'd like to get a vid of my runs too Might go for another akagi up wet MR. |

IDW Goldmember Group: Advanced Members Posts: 1,406 Member No.: 12,243 Joined: Sep 12th 2005 Location: Calgary Canada | Well ok wow, where do I start. Tonight I found my camera, which isn't really good quality but whatever. I took a video of the whole place with just me and my friend. I came really prepared tonight: - Extra food - Towel - Extra clothes had some drinks/food then we set the radio playing on the entire arcade/bar to idforums radio and cranked it up! LOL This is all on video including my soon to be world record run. My cp1 is now 0.2 faster than Taro's best, cp2 is 0.1 faster and cp3 keeps getting worse and worse LoL, cp4 is like exact same. My best CPs so far: 45.735 46.997 51.332 43.603 so possible 07'6 if only I can get my cp3 back. .3 is already slow enough... I can hit .7 on cp1 almost consistantly now, low .8 for sure, cp2 is stuck at 47'1 most of the time and cp3 is a horrible 51'5 or 6.... I can't get it down again. cp4 is always .6 something so doesn't matter about that. Anyways, I'm 4th in the world now, I beat Japan with a 08'1something Will do more shit tomorrow night. Man, everytime we exit the arcade, it's like 5:45am and the sun is up, it's so weird going outside and it's bright... EDIT: Oh... did I forget to mention it's waaaay too hot in there at night? Since everyone's gone the airconditioning is off so... Yeah, I'm forced to play without a shirt and also the reason why I brought the towel! hahaha No one around so why not?? EDIT 2: Did I mention the video is GODLY quality? Thats the pic of it on my Widescreen TV, yeah it's analog so the quality is naturally better but now I gotta find a way to get it on computer without losing that quality. IDW Goldmember Group: Advanced Members Posts: 1,406 Member No.: 12,243 Joined: Sep 12th 2005 Location: Calgary Canada | ever been close to a world record before? neither have I.... lol when you're this close, you gotta take it. 2fast only had one for like 4 months Bart's was unchallenged for a while But this will be hot shit cause everybody's done with all the techniques, everything's been applied so if I get this, it will be pretty close to the max limits of the car. Plus, I don't think people will be back to D3 unless D4 really does bomb..... which it might LoL Anyways, I think I might try wall grinding the jumps tonight! |

Retired old man Group: Advanced Members Posts: 3,210 Member No.: 9,983 Joined: Jul 8th 2005 Location: San Diego, California | Ok kids I'm gonna tell everyone a story. This story involves things you should NOT do. 1. If you make plans to do something with people, don't bring anyone else into it that wasn't originally part of the plan. 2. Make sure when you are ready to go that your cell phone is in working order. 3. When packing for a long trip, make sure you bring EVERY DAMN THING YOU NEED. So as of here is the lowdown. We were suppossed to fly out to edmonton... I had shit I needed to do in philly so Michelle (my gf) and I were there, got our shit together, have the tickets and everything is good to go right? We get to the airport, princess can't find her passport. No idea where it is, so we literally tear everything apart trying desperately to find the goddamn thing, but to no avail. She starts doing the whole crying bla bla bla stuff, but then says she's sure it's at home. So thats where things started going downhill. Drive back up to good old upstate NY, and proceed to tear the ENTIRE place apart looking for this freaking passport. 2 days later, there is still no passport. So where things are right now: I have the rest of the month off, she applied for a new passport but GOD only knows how long thats going to take for her to get, my cell phone is useless and they won't let me change it because of some mid contract BS when I used to WORK for that company, and I have finally made it back here. Moral of the story, don't ever bring your girl into things that can cost you a lot of money. She will find a way to kill it. For the moment, I'm hoping to God they get this passport ASAP, but I'm not expecting much. Part of me wants to leave her here and just go alone... but I'm not so sure that would be the smartest of ideas. I'm just pissed off. corey PM me your # I'll call you from michelles phone. |

My sister just applied for one because she wanted to go to MTL for her 18th birthday, and they said they could make an express one for $100 more which would take a month. Normally its 2-3 months. |
