- UPDATES : Animax has confirmed that Final Stage will be available on its subscription-based VOD (Video On Demand) service starting May 16th, 2014. It will continue where Fifth Stage left off. Consist of a total of four episodes, Final Stage will be focusing on the long-awaited final 86 vs 86 battle between Takumi and Shinji. [confirmed]
- UPDATES : Avex has confirmed that the New Initial D The Movie will be a trilogy. First part of the trilogy is called Legend 1 -Awakening- slated for release in theaters on August 23rd, 2014 (Japan Only) [confirmed]

That day was known as "The Recordbreaker Day", because Bunta broke his own Akina record. On a bicycle. There will be a day when The Universe loses its awesomeness. On that day, Bunta and Chuck will do a fusion dance, resulting in an entity named Bunta Norris. He will then proceed to roundhouse kick every single subatomic particles in the universe, infusing them with pure unadulterated awesomeness that will result in a new Big Bang. Bunta Fujiwara is the progenitor of the Fujiwara clan. Bunta's Impreza can turn into a Gerwalk. Bunta once watched a video purported to cause the death of every single one who watched it. Needless to say, when Sadako comes out of the TV set, Bunta took a liking upon her, grabbed her, and made her his personal maid. Eleven months later, Takumi was born. The purpose of Project D was actually not to break the course records in Kanagawa area. Ryousuke wants to prevent Bunta from doing it. Should Bunta do it and succeed, he will make all the racer girls fall in love with him and leave none for Ryousuke. |
