Oh, the Supra is quite good too but never encountered anyone using it yet. |

There were fairly a number of NSXs as well but their numbers fell as time pass.... Exception so far seems to be Akagi DH where the 6spds seem to do better than 5spds. I would say the AE86 trumps the FD RS in every aspect except for say 2 or 3 maps? The FD RS is probably only fast on Tsubaki Line, Happogahara OB and for now, the fastest on Irohazaka DH.... Otherwise, the AE86, NA6CE are the top performing cars since u see them in the top few rankings almost all the time. Of course, don't get me wrong the two FD's ain't as bad as they sound as the FD type R still holds its own on Akagi UH and does pretty well on Akina UH...

as far as i can tell some only the FT-86 is the dominating car out of the 3 that you have mentioned...although the GC8 can be used for nagao TA's cause its a good car there

In my opinion, the FT86 isn't really much of a good car. Well, maybe not for me. It lacks of speed & the only advantage is to block the opponent physically & also block the view (trust me, I've went against FT86 number of times & it's a p.i.t.a when we're tailing them).

FT86 grips very well for an FR, keeps speed reasonably well too but its accel is a bit lacking. From what I can see from an FC pro I frequently saw playing in the place I usually play, the FC can be driven very smoothly; can't say anything about pickup and the likes though, never played one myself. The NA6CE is a bit of a mixed bag; it revs reasonably well, steering is solid though drift control is not that great, but once you let go of the pedal the accel drops like a rock. Or maybe it's just one of my ID5's leftover driving philosophy bogging me down. For me, the top three cars are AE86, NA1, and NA6CE. I am, by no means, good at the last though; It's something of an emotional keepsake for me. |

FT-86 seems pretty solid in Akagi and Tsukuba....elsewhere it seems to do quite well too. It's just harder to handle :/

Not true. There are a number of people out there who use Evo Xs and Evo IX is top-notch on Lake Akina CCW.

Oh cool, then I guess I better invest in one then. I really like the Evo X in design so I guess its a safe investment then. And I just got beat by one while battling online yesterday..... This post has been edited by SonicSP on Jun 7 2011, 06:34 PM

I had one transferred from my ID5EXP2 card and I'm still not sure what to do with it. I think I've posted this query before, but I cant track down the post. Must have missed pressing post or something. This post has been edited by SonicSP on Jun 24 2011, 10:26 AM |
