That reminds me. Can anybody ID this? I know it's Zeta Gundam doing a Gerwalk pose from Macross, but what Zeta Gundam is it? I don't recognize it.

Yup, it's an HCM-Pro. I compared some reference points (gun, leg armor, verniers) and it's indeed the HCM-Pro. Thanks man.

Word of advice... when you build and pose the wings, pose them once. Strike Freedom and Strike Freedom Full Burst both have a problem in which the plastic system controlling the wing angles will wear down and stop functioning after as little as one movement of the wings. So rather than relying on the built-in system, you reduce stress on the part by moving all the wings at once by hand rather than trying to move one wing to move them all.

It's something about the gold they injected into those parts causing it to weaken and rub away. Here's a pic. Really too bad they never fixed it, but if you're careful you can avoid it.

Pic of the part when the wings are apart:

EDIT: Fixed the images.

Anyone knows the technical and physical differences between an OverFlag and Graham's custom Flag?

I am not convinced of their differences from what I see at the dalong.net website.

The Overflag was based on Graham's Custom FLAG, with the addition of a new Linear Rifle. Essentially, they're the same.

Now, Graham's Flag from episode 25? DO FUKKEN WANT. That shit was AWESOME.

Oh, by the way... Bandai announced they're releasing a special edition transparent MG Strike Freedom. Now, I don't give a crap about the model itself... but since they're using different colors (that is, they're doing it transparent) that means they'll be changing materials. I wonder if the "Clear Version" wing joints will be stronger than their gold counterparts? I'd collect parts from them just to replace the ones on a normal Strike Freedom, you know?

While I don't have anything new to share, I saw this scene in Gundam ZZ the other day and found it highly appropriate. I laughed, anyway. But don't worry, I'm still building. happy.gif

Is BANDAI planning on producing the GN Flag from eps 25? I loved that too.

And do you guys think that the OverFlag is inferior to Murasame in HG?

I found this HG 00 Gundam model from animesuki.com, looks like Bandai has lots of lineup to keep fans busy for the upcoming season 2.

Oh snap GN Flag. If my local shop has it I'm so buying it. That was my absolutely favorite Flag ever, even if it does have to move the GN Drive around just to use the beam saber, hahaha. And it doesn't transform either, I'm guessing.

Probably not because of the GN Drive sticking out.

Some models from the HGUC line are labeled "Gloss injection kit"

How do they differ from their normal counterparts? Which one is better in your opinion? I think the gloss-kits look a bit dull out of box.

Gloss-injection kits are special-edition kits which literally have gloss plastic as parts. They should look shinier than normal kits due to the different plastic. If you think it looks good, then go for it. For those who paint Gunpla, though, gloss injection kits are going to be a waste. It's going to be painted anyway, so why pay more?

Here's a comparison pic. Gloss-injection on the right, normal on the left.
