I would simply do this, providing any kind of receipts or other proof that the car was with Sarona at the time. |

I'm knowledgeable in California traffic law, not so much in NY. I can't really help you there. I do know that at least in the past, a red light camera ticket was safe to ignore in California due to out-of-jurisdiction laws. Whether this has been corrected or not I don't know, nor do I know if it is a similar issue in NY. You'll have to do your own research, I'm afraid.

Like an eagle! Group: SITE OWNER Posts: 8,014 Member No.: 1 Joined: Sep 15th 2002 Location: San Leandro, California | Yup, three years ago I got a ticket issued from a red-light camera. It was for "fail to stop completely for right turn on red" The ticket came with the wording "DO NOT CONTACT THE COURT" I searched the wordings online and sure enough, many people had gotten the same ticket and it was safe to ignore. I too am not sure if they have fixed the loophole in recent years... |

Sounds like you shouldn't ask us Californians, then. It's different here, just as it would be different in Colorado or Florida or anywhere else. Look up the relevant laws to your area and figure out your next plan of action. If that's too daunting, hire a lawyer to do it for you.
