Brings back some good memories! my dad gave me his old copy back when I was 10. I wasn't allowed to play GTA 3 - IV though lol. but nostalgic rules aside the ability to play one of my favorite games in bed is awesome^^ especially with my modded 1000 |

For the latter it was fun to see how many hidden items I still knew the locations of. Been thinking about picking up Majora's Mask since that's one that I've never actually played (I did play Ocarina of Time though, and I thought it was great, particularly the Master Quest for the increased difficulty). Really would like to start playing my Nintendo Switch again but I see no games that give me motivation to spend hours on. |

Request Title - PM Mods Group: Members Posts: 489 Member No.: 25,717 Joined: Aug 6th 2007 Location: Virginia | Been playing Forza Horizon 4 a lot. Trying to get one of every single car in the game. It's been a lot of fun. I found a road I love driving on. It's fairly challenging. Don't really have anyone to play with though. Kind of sucks... Also been back into Grand Theft Auto V Online. They added an arcade business you can own, and a new heist. The arcade is pretty great, if you're into that sort of retro thing. My uncle would tell me stories of the old arcades back when he was a teen: dark room, only the lights from the machines lighting up the area, those retro video game sound effects filling the room...I think I did a pretty good job of recreating the old arcade that used to be around here and got torn down recently. Thinking about it, don't really have anyone to play that game with either. Everyone that does play it just runs around killing everyone like a maniac, and here I am, playing all nice and driving through traffic trying not to damage my car. By the way, the car list on GTAV Online has gotten pretty impressive, for a ton of technically-fictional automobiles. |

Other than that, Yakuza Kiwami 2, and have enjoyed FAITH a lot, greatly anticipating chapter three. |

It was only for a few days, but good times. It was a nostalgic trip down memory lane, way back to the first games I ever remember playing. Back when computers were mysterious. Meant to post this earlier, but the forum was down. Interestingly, coinciding with Cloudflare going down. Google was unreachable for me for a day. | ||

Osaka-kun Group: Advanced Members Posts: 914 Member No.: 45,912 Joined: Sep 27th 2015 Location: Update Profile | So, for the past two months, I've been playing Command and Conquer Red Alert. It was one of the first games I ever beat, though only for the Soviets. I was able to beat both campaigns this time around in less than two weeks, though making Youtube videos about them took far longer - two months. So, on my Galaxy S8 (which btw is one of my favorite phones; it's a toss up between that and the Moto X first gen; I'm very interested in the iPhone 12 mini, but am not interested in paying full price; but I digress), due to the screen being OLED, I've turned off the buttons at the bottom, and use gestures instead, since OLED screens are more susceptible to burn-in. However, when I edit Youtube videos using Inshot, sometimes my fingers get too close to the edges and trigger the buttons. There was this one time when I was running out of storage, and accidentally triggered the button multiple times in quick succession. Ever since then, my phone hasn't been the same. It will crash and reboot randomly and frequently. So, it eventually got better for a while, and I was able to edit some of my game footage, but then it got a lot worse, rendering my phone unusable. So, I spent a long time backing up my data and then trying to restore my phone to working order. I went as far as doing a factory reset, which didn't fix it, reflashing the firmware, which also didn't fix it, and finally erasing the NAND and re-partitioning, which still didn't fix it. So, it is with a heavy heart that I abandoned my beloved S8. Anyways, so that set me back on my video editing. So, by the time I was done with everything, using the Sony Xperia 10 that I was using prior to the S8, it's been two months. I'm disappointed that I couldn't fix my phone. But, at the same time, I'm feel pretty good about learning how to flash my phone. I used to do that type of stuff and know how to do it for Motorola phones and Sony phones. As for the game itself. It's fun. There's definitely elements in the game that are no longer in modern RTS games anymore, like a score screen where you can enter your name. I was pretty impressed with the script, cinematics, and just all the details in the game. I didn't play the remaster, btw. I went with the original. If anyone is interested, I would recommend https://cncnet.org/red-alert as a starting place for getting the game running in Windows 10. The game mechanics are a bit less refined than in Blizzard games around the same time, like Starcraft. The units seem to have pathing issues and also get confused when they are moving and you order them to shoot at enemies. Sometimes they ignore it and just keep on trucking along. Pretty annoying when that happens though it could be more similar to real life? Anyways, here's the videos:
