i'm somewhat new to wmmt, so can sum one plz answer the following questions

if i decided to transfer my wmmt1 card to wmmt2, can i still use the wmmt1 card?
i spent a chunk of money on it, and i don't want it to go to waste, since i would probably still play wmmt1.

and also, when/ how do you get the body kit upgrades on your car in wmmt1?
since i reached super a class, and have yet to see an option to change body kits

thanks

no when you transfer the card you will not be able to use the old one.

in wmmt1 you can only pick carbon or aero parts for your car. there are no different body kits in wmmt1. in wmmt3 you can change your body kit, but you have to play the ghost battle mode.

did you mean to say that it did not look any different? that is most likely because you picked carbon parts.

carbon parts make your car lighter.
aero parts gives your car more handling.

First of all, I'm sorry for reviving this thread - for a good cause though.
Second, my question...

I started playing WMMT2 again to prepare my card for Max Tune 3 here in the PH. My question: Is it possible to transfer my WMMT2 card data to WMMT3 when I want to?

Another question, how do I unlock monster car challenge mode... or something... where I get to face Makoto Morishita in her new Z32 and the 1000hp Celsior one on one in the New Belt Line as an example... (that's what i remember on that race; saw one guy got thrashed by it in his Supra. Poor guy....EH ... poor machine. Tantrumed when he lost for the 3rd time) I finished the game already BTW. My car is a Z32 fyi.

thanks for all the possible help guys.

Power to IDW.

yes it is possible to transfer your card from MT2 to MT3...but your card cannot be used again in MT2

maybe. I'm not so sure. in MT2, I saw some guys playing in this mode; yet I checked mine, it's not unlocked yet so I have no idea if those are specific chapters or not. Thanks for the info.

Okay, Holden... I saw what you mean. Went again today and saw the new lineup, and a much faster and deadlier one at that. My 600 basic tuned Z couldn't keep up and lost again to that red z32 on the B class. God was I stupid.

Thanks for the info. I'll go and upgrade my car when I have the time.

Lol, everyone calls it the Hakosuka. And we don't know, as it's not released outside of Japan, yet.

It's definitely going to be a good car.

Namco usually gives a performance edge on new cars. This is a way of enticing players to purchase the new car to tune from scratch (which would generate lots of money for Namco worldwide).
I don't think they'd make enough money if people are not gonna purchase and tune the new cars and simply transfer their existing cars from previous versions.
