Why?
All you need is the time to beat.

i don't know how the bloody hell you guys managed to do it with the 60 000 dollars limit...
an fd rs would cost what? around 37 grand? you have around 23 to spend on parts... i'm guessing you have a turbo installed... plus other stuff... wow, you guys are fast...

Hold on to your seat belts cause I'm reaching for the steering wheel. More likely I'll crash and burn rather than beat the current record but anyways... happy.gif

You got pics? Because I'm calling them out on this one =p

The only reason I ask is because your new to the boards, and you keep beating everyone's records, and that seems kinda fishy =p

So you better have them now

Don't have them but as soon as my room mate comes home I can take a pic, although even if you see a picture of the record how can you know that I use legit tuning? The only real way would be to put up a full movie of the lap and then also go to settings and show them as well.

But sure, you're getting the pics as soon as my buddy comes home. Hope he can find the cable to his cellphone so we can transfer them as well.
Luckily I saved the best lap. Haven't done that on any other course.

I might point out to you though that if you disregard buying tires and put more on a turbo and get it to about 380 horses, I'm sure you would reach the same times I have, since I only played the course through 3 times.

But wait a minute, why should I show you a pic of my time when I just as well can show you a picture of my 4'46.100 I just nailed with the same car whistling.gif

Maybe, just maybe I can get a friend who owns a DV camera and just put that up on my FTP. We'll see. I'll call a few buddys later. Btw my room mate will be home the 29th. After the competition is over I'll give you the specs of the car so you try yourself if you still wouldn't believe me.

Using PAL yes, although I don't think they can't have such huge differences. Maybe some

Until I have some reliable info regarding the differences between the NTSC and PAL version of GT3, I advise people to take my times lightly. They are correct times, but on my PAL system, and if I find out that this gives me an unfair disadvantage, I'll revoke my times from the competitions where the organizing user of the competition see it fit. If anyone else runs a PAL version GT3, please reply and tell me if you know anything of this! unsure.gif

i wouldn't think there's any difference from the PAL to NTSC versions...
except maybe the speedometer reads mph instead of km/h...
either way, it's pretty difficult to tell whether he did abide by the rules and budget for this race even with a picture...
