It looks really cheap and inaccurate, at $60 + tax.
Note : The gauge in the pic is not the fuel pressure tester, CT screwed up. That's the wrong pressure range...
Parts Zone had the same thing , for the same price. Now, I wasn't going to spend $60 on something that looks like it should be sold in the dollar store. So I went and picked up a couple of parts :
- 0-60 psi gauge ( in retrospect I should have gone with a 0-100, but I wanted the lower end to be more accurate ) , the one I got is fairly accurate ( 3% tolerance )
- 1/4" zinc plated steel tee
- 1/4" plated steel valve
- 1/4" zinc plated steel nipple
- 1/4" barb fittings x2
- 1/4" nylon hose
- couple of hose clamps
The total cost was a bit below $40 , so under $45 including taxes :
Now, I'm pretty sure I could get the specific GM and/or Ford connectors for under $15, that way I would still be under whatever the cheap CT stuff costs. But then again, it's not hard to just remove a fuel line and splice this thing in.
