[given that there are no second chances] seeing your times right now, they look intimidating plus, if i beat yours, you're stuck... right? |

I didnt really care what i bought so, considering i wasnt gonna try to hard, i hadn't played the game in 8 months, and this is a forum based on Initial D, i thought i'd buy the car i use in the game, Toyota Altezza. Here's what ive put in ma baby so far: Toyota Altezza – 24, 000 Turbo – 41, 500 Exhaust – 4, 600 Racing Chip – 1, 900 Full Engine Balancing – 11, 000 Port Polish – 5, 250 Sports tyres – 5, 500 Flywheel – 1, 000 Transmission - 10, 200 Brakes – 4, 600 Suspension – 7, 200 Clutch - 4, 600 DriveShaft - 2, 750 I've only done one race, and that was midfield... I aint so good at her, the quickest ive run is a 1:19.806 I'll keep posting as i keep racing --- Oh yeah, and dont close this on the 2nd of Febuary, keep it open to the 15th, trust me, i believe there will be more people taking part in this --- And depending on how many enter, make it the first 5 or 10... i think the evo's would be a very good car for this, they have pretty good grunt, handle better than the rexys and their pretty cheap to buy

slap slap slap! Group: Advanced Members Posts: 1,493 Member No.: 1,183 Joined: Jan 26th 2004 Location: Update Profile | They have great Handling compared to the Altezza, but not to much power on this budget... if i had the same kind of grunt in the lancer i do in the Altezza, that thing would own |

If anyone out there uses a PAL version of the game and ownes an X-port then i'd be happy to do more runs and send away replays. cheers. This post has been edited by Rypien on Jan 29 2004, 04:09 AM |

Ok well i noticed that you already used a car...i dunno if it wasn't in the rules, but you only allowed one car... i mean it'd be too easy to find the best cheap car for each track and do the 125,000.anyways,once i get more time i'll finish everything up and post the winner,i'm using the school puters cuz i was hacked and i can't access my internet explorer....so yea...SORRY!!! but if perry or a world mod or what not do it,then GREAT!

I've not been playing too much GT3 of late, but am really looking forward to GT4 and the enjoyment it will bring. I am currently doing a V8 series over at the Racing Line forums, and thats about it as far as GT goes. The fantastic TORC series is starting up again at various forums and i may jump into it again but time will tell. Most of my racing is currently being done on the PC with the new JGTC mod for F1 challenge. btw - i've got an x-port and so if anyone would like to share replays then drop me a line. |
