I've searched through the entire current arcade forum and couldnt find anything on grip driving.

I was told grip style exist.
Does grip style exist as a useful method of driving in initial D 7?

I've been mimicking TA videos and you usually only see brake cancels or double brake cancels for runs that come close to world records, but I was wondering if something else existed and was effective.

For initial D 5:
I found this video, which I didnt really enjoy and felt lacked anything that explained much.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lz2L0dMs0Ws It kinda just seems like BS to me.

Can anyone whos been around high level play for initial D 5 and 7 shed some light on this?

Thank you!

There is grip style in D5, but don't think it exists in D7.

Even then, I'm under the impression drift style is faster than grip in D5 once mastered.
