I think it activates based on how hard you drift. It mostly activates to blue for me most of the time and gold if I drifted really hard (usually also means I screwed up -.-). I don't think we figured out what it does except for that though, especially considering it was pretty important in D6.

SS1 isn't as a valuable or as hard as it used to be compared to pre-update(Sega inflated all the ranks basically to encourage more blue bar pumping; which hasn't changed) but its still a decent rank that requires some online wins I assume.

Perhaps it's because of online battles? The game will always face you with harder and harder level opponents as you keep winning, so there will come a point where you be faced with opponents that will be a challenge. This would happen regardless of how good you are since there's usually somebody better out there and if not in one course, then another one surely.

It's also possible that you are not used to the real physics of the game, which happens after the last parts of Spec 4. Your reaction time needs to be faster after the switch, as will the frequency of your BCs.

I guess more practice will help, as would analyzing videos of specific courses. The videos will help you learn the linings and even wheel turns as well. Now that D7 has accel and brake inputs on the screen, learning from videos has become even easier. TA is kinda helpful too as Okami said.

When was that a thing? I only recall Akina having a snow Variant.

long ago. during the first update A+. Around april.

Now there are snow courses for Akina, Tsukuba and Tsuchisaka. So much for originality...

But I do not like the night itself for Tsukuba Snow ... I feel that in the day is better.

Hv a part of this course is shiny white same like the sky. Sometimes i will mistake and bang on it lo. Sad...

Oh , i also encountered it bef.. Its too white and too bright, if u get used to it maybe u wont happen again. I always check mini map.

Yeah it happens, even in videos it's like that.

I hate it when machines are in front of the window during the day. u barely see what is in front at night Course... Esp tksabaka snow ... I switched off the headlights its like as dark as it is with snowflakes coming down .

I have a lot to catch up here the last game i played is ID5 and haven't bothered to check anything since.

so what the hell is up with the 3 story arc from Lots ? is Rebirth a new story not from the manga ? i miss ID4 times when it's so simple

Rebirth IS a story arc from the manga. There are 3 arcs: Original, Rebirth and Legend.

Original is the arc from ID First Stage to Fourth Stage.

Rebirth focuses on the Fifth Stage.

Legend is just a mode where you can battle characters from the story not on their home course.

So Legend is like LoTS from previous versions ? or is it the one where we have to outrun the characters from a rolling start ?

Since the last ID game you played is ID5, I'm not sure Legend existed back then.

How do I participate am event?? Anyone? Please help me~~~ T^T

There isn't much ID7 event anymore now that D8 is out. So...if you're planning to get that Project D Mission achievement where you at least need to participate one event...

Go to the fourth option of single mode. That's the event mode. After that its entirely up to you, since this is a 40% top rank in.

I've just checked, your 3'44" event time is not fast enough to rank in, please push to at least 3'30" for rank in, the current cutoff rank in time now is 3'36".

Tsubaki Line UH event. It was from Friday until today. I participated in it.

At least today I did, was busy the last two days. Wasn't good enough to make the cutoff though. I'm terrible at Tsubaki Line.
