^Check it. I really can't expalin anything, but for the past five days for 3-5 hours a night, I've been reading this webcomic/adventure game/musical, and I highly suggst you all check it out. IT does take a while for it to get going, but hwhen shit hits the fan, it HITS THE f**kING FAN.

Welp, for starters, the first chapter is one of the most god-awful pieces of fat nasty trash I've read.....

But honestly, go and read it. It's like that training scene, no not the one in Rocky, the one in Bloodsport, where JCVD almost splits his nutsack in half? It's that bad, but the reward is not a chiseled six-pack, but instead an amazingly intricate story which is on-going and currently the size of War and Peace.

So besides that, it's about this kid,


This happy little shit is John Egbert. He's a nerd, into shitty 90's films, has a severe hatred of all things Betty Crocker, and his father is a true gentleman who enjoys Barbasol shaving cream, making cake and clowns. Now Mr. Egbert (John) has 3 friends...


First, there's the super-gnar-as-fuck Dave Strider. An ironic hipster SOB who happens to be the "writer" of Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff, the greatest webcomic ever. His brother dresses like Kamina, tortures him with puppets, and duels him with a fuckton of shitty swords.



NEXT FRIEND! Girl: Rose LaLonde, Occupation: amateur psychiatrist, master of magicks, and Cthullu enthusiast. Her mom, a ragingly passive aggressive alcoholic, enjoys giving Rose ponies for her birthday, and her cats.


FINALLY, there is Jade MOTHERFUCKING Harley. How badass is she? Welp, she shares a last name with a pretty badass comapny, and her grandpa (who is stuffed in her living room) was a great adventurer. She's not to shabby herself, experimenting with nuclear physics, bass guitar, and precision rifle shooting. Oh, and her dog can warp space time itself. Neat, huh?

Oh, and there's these guys......


(ignore the text) They are the 12 trolls from Alternia, but you'll learn about them later. You probably have seen their likeliness roaming about cons all over, making fools of themselves. That's just the juvenile Homestuck fan in their habitat. Avoid at all cost if you value your life.

So, I said it once, but I'll say it again, this time with FEELING. Read Homestuck. I need some regular people to get into this. We aren't all crazy, or at least I think we aren't.

The new generation's Madness Combat perhaps? Either way, it's bloody awesome.

Dude, if I had the time I totally would. But classes and stuff... anyway, I'll probably get around to it one of these days. Anything related to SBAHJ is A-OK in my book.

As the battle between bronies and homestuckians, i love this battle so much. Also the pnoy fandom just...scares the ever living crap outta me.

The pony fandom can be taken in a multitude of ways. I'm drawn to MLP the same way I have been since I was 20+ years ago. It's a great cartoon. <3 With more musical.

So anyway, this Dave character is the author of SBAHJ in the story, right? Could you shed any light on how that happens, or how/if SBAHJ are referenced in the Homestuck story?
