eightsixdrifter9: I think we're talking about a different Boa.....

We're talking about Boa Kwan, the sixteen year old jap/korean pop singer...

k i heard that the movie was still going to go ahead? thought it would be released mid to end of 2003? its what i heard anyways

as for the names of the mountain passes in initial d yes they are ALL real, i have pictures of them all, and maps to show just how far apart they are etc, if u look closely on mount akina you can see how the gutters are made, which makes it possible for takumi to slip his tyres in. and in the ep where Nakazato says "i know what he did.. and it can only happen on akina" he means this because these gutters are only found on akina, u see different (normal) gutters on all the other passes, i thought that was interesting.

back to the movie - they can simulate big drifts very close to teh guardrail, itll just take time, skill, and different camera angles/tricks, no doubt hardly any of the corners u see in the movie will be complete corners, they will all be chopped and stuck together to form an impressive visual display of drift.

i cant wait for the movie smile.gif i just hope its more japanese than chinese, because it IS japanese culture after all

btw my mum is going back to japan in april 2003, i have to get her to get me some stuff... she is staying with my relies, who live not too far from some industrial areas where drifting is frequent.

and YES, i did ask to go with mum, but she wont take me, she is taking my grandma who is old and needs to see her rellies again before she passes away...

we live in australia..
