Is that one of those older model PS3s?
cuz my phat one doesn't light up like that

sux dude, cuz Sony's most likely gonna ask for your money to fix it.
If u got the money you should either fix it or buy a new one
not sure if you can just swap your hard drive into another phat/slim ps3, but if you can, good luck

I lost my full tuned AE86T, FD, GC8, R32, FC, Cappy, Evo9, AE86L, AE85 when I was backing up my data to another hard drive, 2 years of hard work gone sad.gif

I think the ps3 error from 3 days ago corrupted my new file again, only a full tuned Trueno this time. I haven't checked. But if the file's corrupted again, ima rage quit!

You learn new things my friend, learn new things.
lol.

Edit 1: There was nothing ever wrong with my frames... its just sometimes how much stuff I put into certain videos on sony vegas.. and it changes the frames somehow... kind of retarded.. but i mess around with it.

I have to applaud you for being so dedicated to this game. As much as I loved IDES, I lost interest within a few months... and years later you're still trudging along like a champ. Bravo, good sir. Bravo. thumbsup.gif

I take it there is no way to transfer data to the new system? On the X360, some games take your savedata and put it on a server so you can utilize savadata from any system so long as you can log into your account.

I'm not exactly sure what cars I'll want to get and tune but I do know that the AE86 will be my first car for sure. I've decided that much already.

You need to obtain your SS rank again and I need to get it for the first time. Maybe we can help each other with that.

Got the game a day early! Played it. I love it. It's awesome. I hate Akagi though because I have trouble with some of the corners. Oh well I just need more practice there. I can't beat the leader of the Emperor team though. Any suggestions?

I got into Initial D only a few months back so it wasn't until recently that I heard that GameWorks even had Initial D. If I remember correctly they have arcade stages 3 and 4 right? I wonder if 5 will be there eventually. I was wondering how you knew about GameWorks and then I saw that your also in Seattle. We should meet up sometime and play there together.

Glad to hear that you love it, what car are you using because I played with a S2000 and I felt that he was pretty easy. Maybe practice more in time attack and try to get faster times.

I started with a Sprinter Trueno GT-APEX also known as the AE86 although you already knew that. I'm trying to build Takumi's AE86 from Initial D: Fourth Stage. I've done some tuning to the car so I'm good there. You see I start the battle off just fine and it stays that way for a while, maybe up until a little after the half way point. Once I get there though there are these kind of random hair pin turns that I'm not used to (remember I've only played this track like 4-5 times). He catches up to me, eventually passes me, and that's it. I've never caught up to him and passed him after he has passed me.

What is your cornering speed exiting the turn because I exit at 85-87 mph with my S2000. Like near the middle of the stage the hairpin with the small length there are little jumps on those turns use those to your advantage if you can. That should help alot.

Thanks for the tip dude. It helped me out and I beat him using a combination of that and aggressively not letting him pass me at all costs. I also needed to get used to the course some more. Keisuke is next to be taken down.

You got a PSN gamer tag? Maybe we can play together some time.

@Ninja: I need your gamer tag if were ever going to battle each other.

My PSN is gunblade15 and I'm glad that you beat him. I tend to not block the opponent that I'm facing though because everytime I try I fail epicly by hitting a wall then I lose him horribly.

I have a little knack for blocking but they can still get around me sometimes.

Now I'm stuck on Keisuke. It's still uphill on Akagi but it's a night now and the road is so narrow that it kind of hard to see. So far Akagi is my least favorite course. On the bright side I beat Wataru and his AE86 with my AE86 going uphill on Akina plus he is the same difficulty as Keisuke so I'm sure all I need to do is get better at Akagi.

are you using wheel or controller? cuz I haven't played with the controller for over a year
there isn't any specific strategy to beat the game, just need some TAs, practice and tune your car

Wish we could meet up but I'm currently in Taipei

I'm using a controller. How much is it for a wheel? An estimate would be nice.

Taipei? Where is that at and why are you there?

100 bucks!? Seriously!? I was expecting something around 50 but not much more than that.

Yeah they were some pretty cool races, even if you did win all of them except one. We need to do it again soon because I need all the practice I can get.
