i did a search and didnt find anything on this so....... lets see everyones aura  i havent taken a pic of mine in a while, its orange now but heres the next most recent pic ive got.  im the white FD btw might as well post them all, lol. some are old     my altezza still needs one but id like to FT it first since its not very strong atm. *Pinned by Dre* |

Stat whore? LOL, that record doesn't mean anything if you are just racing n00bs all the time.......  Nice Aura though. I'm don't have one yet, since I haven't done any head to head racing in ver 2. |

| I mean, getting the levels up is alright but if you really want to prove your skill, then you would have to have a good win % and racing people of your skill level or better........ it's no fun in racing weak people all the time now, just for the sake of keeping your win % up and seemingly in good shape. Most people I know tend to race each other and the races are generally quite competitive and close. I'm a firm believer in racing for the sake of challenge, not to keep owning easy people to make your record look good on paper. Obviously, seeking challenges are what makes life worth living and such, etc. If you keep beating newbie racers all the time and win by a huge margin every race, I think it would get a bit tiring, don't you think? |

| yes, very tiring and boring. but some people are just that way. i TRY to challenge better or equal players but not many here. not saying im the best but people here dont like to challenge or be challenged very often so its hard to find a good race. |

| the only cars with auras here i know of....... FD FC Evo III Evo IV GTR 34 Silvia S15 GC8V Celica GT4 and thats about it. im slowly workin on my altezza but i havent played too much with it. |

| The problem with auras is that it is really dependent on your local arcade. If the people at your arcades loves to challenge, then chances are you guys will have more battles than a place that doesn't like to challenge. For us [Vancouver], most people don't challenge at CHQ or Playdium and it's annoying. As a result of this, there aren't many cars with Auras and almost ALL cars with an Aura are DC2s except for a handful of non-DC2 cars... Cars with aura that I have seen so far with the highest being a DC2 with battle level 17... (too many) DC2  (3x) Cappuccino [14,11,11 and they're all mine!  ](1x) MR-S  (1x) FD Type R  (1x) GC8V

shut up asaki, no one challanges YOU. ahahahahhahahhaa. i have tons of battles. Yesterday for example i won like 35 battles in a row but i STILL dont have an aura yet. The battle lvls of the people im battling are REALLY low. They just dont seem to understand that im NOT a n00b and continue to challange me and continue to give me freeplays  yea, asaki youre famous so no people will not challange you. Go to CHQ and play the regulars there, you should have some fun  so as soon as i get my aura up ill take pics and upload them.BTW, nice auras. |

| Oh well, guess I'll have to go down to Richmond or something At least I did get a battle today in my brand spankin' new Altezza. A DC2 driver at Playdium thought it was "fish" and challenged my Altezza to Irohazaka downhill dry with boost off. I shot in front of him off the line, then the advantage meter kept growing! Looks like I'll have to crappy cars to get challenges  BTW, the Altezza feels like a scary car... |

| get a new capp and play REALLY badly on time trials. Dont EVER play bunta mode, but if you do lose on purpose. Then when someone challanges you kill them off. |

| i finally moved up to orange now and did it in a respectable manner. my "rival", lol, got cyan (lvl30) by stalking noobs and had 85 consec. wins. i hate people who do that, lol. anyways, i have to get my camera back from my gf cause i got to lvl 14 with my altezza now, w00t |

speaking of FDs in ver.3....did anyone here anything about how good the FD will be in ver.3? wut im guessing is that it should still be a owner of one track cos it is still a main car in the manga.  too bad the 86 doesn't own a track...its only the main car in the whole anime. |

| thats my friend lowell. its actually a FT'ed FD that he just started battling with. the only thing that was unfair is the fact that im faster than him. but im helping him get better. its like my Integra, its full tuned but has no aura and never seen battle. just a lot of t/a's |

| as far as i know. 11-20 Blue (only changes in size) 21-22 Green 23-24 Pink 25-26 Orange 27-28 Red 29 Purple 30 Cyan 31 White 10 cons. wins after white is rainbow im not sure if this is 100% correct but if anyones knows exactly, correct me. nobody to battle so i had to have my friend race me just to take a pic. white better be here soon  |

No, you're right. But, once you have rainbow, if you lose a battle you go back to white. You don't lose a battle level, you just lose the rainbow aura. |

| thats how my 8V is sorta. absolutely no areas cleared just beat the last characters on each map twice. lots of t/a's. no bunta challenges. i just full tuned it over the weekend but i did 4 course a lot so when people look its only 240k points. i didnt even play all the 4 courses, just let friends use my card but i somehow get battle lvl 17 in 104 races and no i dont go fishing unless i get fished first. |

I beat a rainbow (forgot the car.. its a rarely used one) and i beat him and he btl lvled down... It belonged to the manager of the arcade though so he didnt care, next day he had rainbow again |

| ...heres a question maybe somebody could help me hea...im a battle level 20 w/ 283 wins and about 120 losses ...and i noticed it gets really hard to get battle level up now....does it have anything to do w/ my win percentage....or my losses? cuz i noticed pics of a FD w/ a red aura with only 260 wins but a 70%...it seems like i need 50 wins for a battle level now...could somebody tell me the exact amount of wins for each battle level up? and i hope this is the rite place to post ths |

| theres no exact amount. its more dependent on what kind of people you race. it'd be easier though if you battle higher or at least equal level people. win % has nothing to do with it |

| The aura shows up around your car, like an aura would on a lifing being. Only during battles though, not during the computer. |

An Orange aura? That's what i have! It's v3 as well.....hehe sorry to be such an ass...anyway enjoy this pic guys.. The Levin is actually level 16, but it looks like a pink flame (combination of orange + blue because of my orange aura) because of the aura bug on version 3. |

Damn, Am I the ONLY one with pics to show in here anymore? Anyway, more madness at the arcade today! No level up, but I did get challenges quite a few times though! LOL Here are the pics: 1st race against a DC2 Iro DH.....the power of the block! A lil while later my friend offers to take me on to Akagi UH Wet! More victories for the beast (his level 14 Buntamobile) Then right before I go a n00b decides he can take me to Iro and win while his gf is watching and cheering him on! She should've cheered louder cause he got smoked too! (And his car is FT he just doesn't battle with it). And that is the madness from today! | yes, to a certain extent. If you are below level 11 then you get "experience" no matter win or lose. After you hit 11 you have to start winning to gain battle levels. |

Also, consider this......I was the first one (and still am) the only one in my arcade to even break the Level 21 barrier! The 2nd highest person in my arcade is a guy with a Level 19 FD (who RARELY plays). So the average racer who challenges me is around 7~8. The average DC2 I fish are around 13~14!!! |

| Yeah, GDB has one of the fastest start ups in the game (besides Sil80 and Miata). The EVO4 has a fairly good start up as well, but you have to hit the correct shift points though for it to go as fast as it can. |

| i'm getting beat with my Evo IV already and i only made it yesterday...so far i have only.....step 3 i think? it's reset ecu... ey Maniak Blakk - when do you shift with the Evo?......it revs up to 9000rpm and redlines at 6200rpm i think?.,...first i shift at 5000rpm 2nd at 6000rpm 3rd wait till redline.....and 4th it feels slow.....i usually wait till 140kph then shift to 5th gear am i doing something wrong?..... oO i'm getting beat my cheapass no skill DC2 j/c but is the DC2 still the same in version 3? or is it A LOT slower? |

| damn block.......can't do anything but just keep riding behind their ass until a turn your car will be wobbley at first but try to control it (harder if your car is FR) and your car will start to turn totatlly sideways and picking up a lot of speed... ey maniak blakk....my friend who drives a stupid cheap DC2 was driving a GDB once and he said that when he first got it....it starts out fast but when he completed his option....he can't start out fast.....is there something he's doing wrong? or is it suppose to be like that? btw which track do you race on most? for me it's akagi and akina |

| damn my stoopid friend's DC2 is fast as hell now.....he can keep up with me in Akagi but Akina he's not as far behind my aura...is still pink.....damn that sucks......and he says that my car should be faster (it isn't any faster)...and his is only BL 17!!!! in akagi he can keep up with me on the first turn but on the straightaway i pull away till the first set of hairpins......then he would keep up but i would pull away again.....and then he would catch up...and now he's always right on my trueno's ass...and i have to block the inside hardcore.....cause that is how he drives....and whenever the race is over....he's always 20m alway from me!!!!.....am i just dreaming?!?!?! back then when i race him.....he'll fall behind 200m.... |

AND I CAN'T DRIVE WITH NO MUSIC...WITHOUT MUSIC THE RACE SEEMS LONGER AND THE SOUND OF THE ENGINE IS ANNOYING......and on the first turn of akina......i messed up....yup so i got beat and he got a BL up....i got soooooo mad i raced him again and won!!!! but freakin his BL won't go down....so he tried akagi and lost again and his freakin battle level still wouldn't go down!!!!!!!.....i swear our freakin machine is messed up somehow....so he said "uh i gotta go home i'll come back later" which he didn't......damn big fish got away.....oO he went to BL 17 and so i'm still on BL 24 i hate pink!!!!...i think that is what made my car slower...but 20 more plays... i'll try to take a pic next time |

| yea i notice that..... oO and i forgot to mention today....when this guy came in with his DC2 raced my poor 86 on Iro......i lost got up to the first shortcut without letting him pass.....but he passed me there.....and won.....then my friend that just made a brand new DC2 he's mad i mean reallie reallie mad today cause he got beat by lots of DC2 players...(he drives an 86)....yea so he made a new DC2 and i took his car and raced the guy with the other DC2(BL 12) i took him to Akagi and kicked his ass.....damn i was so happie then .....still pissed cause he took my trueno to Iro...and he sucks cause Iro is the only track he plays...is my area the only area where there are a lot of ppl that drives cheap DC2(V2)? |

| Well, on Akagi dry (up and downhill) DC2 is nothing to fuc.k with! UH with it I run a 2'22 and 2'17-18 downhill! Of course an FD would kick the living shit outta just about ANY car on there! I was hitting mid 2'16s with my FD when it was only at around 450k! No you're not the only place that everyone drives a DC2, my arcade has a whole gaggle of DC2 n00bs! (Of course most of them are driving EVO's now thanx to a few well placed ass kickings). |

| yea i know that...my friend would always try to pass me on the first set of hairpins....but my block.....muahahahah....it's a once in a while he passes me on the last hairpin but i would pass him on the next corner... but now his car is like all up on my ass lately on akagi maniak blakk - do you have problems when a good driver takes you on Iro or Happo with his DC2? forgot to take a pic of my Aura......i will later on today......i'll post the pic up later on |

| Yeah post up that pic man! I don't have too many problems with DC2s on Irohazaka, but Happo I just leave the boost on. I run low 41's on the DH on Iro and 2'25 on Happo both ways. With some sneaky driving and alot of skill I overtake them on Happo everytime!!! |

| I'll try to take a pic of my DC2 its a level 28. Just sucks that we dont have V3 and the closest one is too far away to actually play it regularly. Not as many people play at my local arcade anymore which sucks I wish some of you higher up players were around so I could have some nice healthy competition. Most people wont race me anymore unless they are wanting to try and level up. I have to say the wet courses dont mess with my DC2 very much especially Akina, Hap, and Iro which I can run almost the same times wet or dry. Its true about Akagi though its junk however I finally started to run much better times on it as I learned I had to take most curves a complete gear down than what I normally would. This increased my times dramatically but as many of you stated even that doesn't help against an RX7 with someone who knows how to drive it being behind the wheel. Mostly I can do some blocking to keep them from getting ahead on the straights. To me seems the DC2's main weakness is a pathetic 5th gear. Which is what makes it just bleh on Usui and Myogi I just want us to get a V3 machine :\ I'm sick of v2 till then I'll be glad to snag Street Stage on the PSP on the 23rd or whenever my import comes in. AT least its based of V3! better than nothing I guess O_O |
