WARNING! READ THE RULES BEFORE POSTING!!!!! This thread is devoted to posting up any car that you think is absolutely amazing. However, there are some rules... 1. Since this is partially an anime forum, no anime-related cars; this means most itasha (cars with anime characters plastered over them) and all cars pulled directly from any series whatsoever. Actual versions or replicas of the car from said series, however are allowed. 2. Please, let's not be cocky. Leave your personal rides outside of this thread if you already have a build thread of some sort or have already announced your car. If you wanna surprise everyone with your just-finished project, go ahead. Only one pic will be allowed, however. Leave the others to your own threads if you won't mind. 3. If you have second thoughts on putting a picture into this thread, don't put it in. A lot of cars that are like that are just fads that have passed over and do not need to be looked back on. It's like those pastel-colored hot rods or the ever-so-famous Donk; to some they might've been cool at one time, but to others, maybe not. 4. No arguments. Sure this maybe a discussion board, but dopeness is a state of mind and a matter of opinion, not a reason to troll the hell out of others because you disagree. If it gets too crazy, I might be threatened to shut the entire operation down to let it cool down for a bit. EDIT: EDIT: 5. comments-only posts are allowed, but cannot quote the last picture. EDIT: EDIT: EDIT: Image limit removed due to auto-resize. So let us start off.... Image size reduced, original size: 749 x 599. http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u38/Turbo_Levin_13/phil1-708855-1.jpg to view the image in its original dimension. Image size reduced, original size: 672 x 448. http://ll.speedhunters.com/u/f/eagames/NFS/speedhunters.com/Images/AntonioAlvendia/Feature%20Cars/Tony%20Pham%20Miata%20Turbo/IMG_1182%20copy.jpg to view the image in its original dimension. ^Love the color on this one |

Quoted for truth. Never seen your car around Auckland though, and I can see that's a damn shame! |
Posted by: peemyTNBow Jul 29 2009, 08:59 PM
I dig the panasport G7s. |
Posted by: AzNMaVbOi Jul 29 2009, 09:11 PM |
Still my absolute favorite car of all time: And this version of it ain't bad either: Now if I only had the money to get a Spoon Sports converted US Spec NSX-R... |
Posted by: Alex Jul 29 2009, 09:14 PM |
I feel like I'm cheating. I already have an 80+ page thread bookmarked with the exact same idea, but I'd like to suggest a rule. EVERY post must contain an original car picture. This means no text only posts and no posts quoting an already posted car just to say "fully sick, mate!" On that note... ALSO! Please oh PLEASE don't quote posts full of pictures. That Report button looks pretty appetizing when people do that. |
Posted by: Fast Jul 29 2009, 09:45 PM |
Oh man I love me some NSXs. Here are some more Subies. These pics also serve as a history lesson of sorts as well. |
Posted by: N643 Jul 29 2009, 10:10 PM |
hate all u want ppl but i still find HONDAs dope as hell got 2 love old skool civics plus these cars are from my area |
Posted by: Alex Jul 29 2009, 10:15 PM |
I think it's strange how I've just fallen in love with the 2 most recent Impreza designs. Back to the pics! That's fackin' heritage right there. |
Posted by: Hachi_Roku Jul 29 2009, 10:49 PM |
Mostly Civics/Hondas, but I REALLY appreciate the use of BBS wheels, even though I'm not really a Honda fan. |
Posted by: Shirogane Jul 29 2009, 11:00 PM |
Been loving the Chaser, still loving the Chaser. |
Posted by: Hachi_Roku Jul 29 2009, 11:13 PM |
LOVING them X100's. X81's aren't that bad either. I can't wait for 2011-2012, it's when the early ones become Canada-legal. |
Posted by: kyonpalm Jul 30 2009, 02:26 AM |
Just truly boss. My favorite rally car of all time, even if it was RWD! Street version FTW! |
Posted by: Drew Jul 30 2009, 07:50 AM |
Since we're talking BBS RS, why not show some more epicness of this great wheel. and now something completely different! |
Posted by: N643 Jul 30 2009, 08:32 AM |
is it just me or do any of u guys think that bbs rims go great with any car & it be funny saying "my rolls royce does 9s" |
Posted by: kyonpalm Jul 30 2009, 09:01 AM
Of course they go great with most cars. Heck, Mako & Sayuki's Sil-Eighty has a set. |
Posted by: peemyTNBow Jul 30 2009, 09:14 AM |
Pictures of my BBS RSs: 17 x 9 + 20 Front 17 x 9 + 19 Rear I am still contemplating keeping or selling these, I got a few nice offers on these wheels. If i keep them, I will probably put wider lips, and change out the barrels on them and make then 17 x 10.5 or 17 x 11 front and rear. |

Say, what model of Volvo is that? I've been contemplating getting one as a first car since they're pretty cheap, but I'm not very educated on them. Volvo wagons look awesome on BBS wheels. |
Posted by: MattW Jul 30 2009, 10:15 AM |
Early 740 with the Aero kit and European headlights. |
Posted by: Tessou Jul 30 2009, 11:14 AM |
The MkIV Golf R32 and GTI models will always be favorites of mine. I aspire to have both in my driveway within a few years. |
Posted by: Alex Jul 30 2009, 11:15 AM |
You guys suck at Rule 6. I love the R8. So much. |
Posted by: Cyrus430 Jul 30 2009, 12:43 PM |
I think the Murcielago looks sexy in White and Black. If I could I'd rent one to drive it around... owning it would cost so much. the 959 is just full of sexiness and wowness... And the GT3RS... Love the color scheme, and even if the performance isn't all "GT-R killer" I don't care... this is a car that you don't have to even drive to get compliments on. |
Posted by: Horiyoshi Jul 30 2009, 01:11 PM |
This reminds me of the Dope Shitzzzzz thread on clubroadster ... especially with the first post. Man ... I've really been wanting a first gen Celica lately ... |
Posted by: S12 Guy Jul 30 2009, 01:31 PM |
Pure 80*s motorsports. they made it boxier than the original car.... then the kenandMarie if i had only had 3400 USD i could have spared about a year ago i would be the proud owner of a greenish one... |
Posted by: Horiyoshi Jul 30 2009, 01:52 PM |
Greenish kenmeri Skyline? Sorta hard to believe. If it's in the US, the owner knows how valuable they are. |
Posted by: S12 Guy Jul 30 2009, 01:57 PM
it was a repaint, originally silver i believe... it was a northern car so the trunk had rusted out. I never implied it was nice to look at, just that i could have had it. + it was an ebay special. |
Posted by: Rudy Jul 30 2009, 03:54 PM |
God, I love those wheels. |
Posted by: kyonpalm Jul 30 2009, 04:01 PM

LOL. I have that car in my avatar. That car is really great. Both in real life and in Gran Turismo. I love the Audi A4 DTM. |

Posted by: Alex Jul 30 2009, 08:18 PM |
Goddammit, Drew. You know how to tickle my fancy. Miatas and rods. I would have done this last one a little differently. Dogdish wheels just work too well. |
Posted by: Rudy Jul 30 2009, 08:57 PM
That car was awesome in NFSIII:HP The car that was featured in the game preceding it, however... IDK. I prefer this. ;3 Who cares if it only has 6 cylinders and the interior of a Ford Taurus? That does not define epic dopeness. <3 |
Posted by: MattW Jul 30 2009, 09:20 PM
It's a Jaguar XJR-15. Way too simple. |
Posted by: Alex Jul 30 2009, 09:39 PM
I think you're missing something Did somebody say TAURUS?! |
Posted by: Shirogane Jul 30 2009, 11:10 PM
IMO, the Taurus in that Gen looks decent enough. And I prefer this over an Impreza, the first gen. |
Posted by: MattW Jul 30 2009, 11:14 PM
YOU KNOW I DON'T PLAY BY THE RULES And on the notion of Taurii, ROBOCOP f**k YEAH. |

More Volksy goodness... The Nardo W12 Concept. If only they put this on the market instead of that dead weight Phaeton. Mk2 Scirocco. Nothing more need be said. Can't talk about Volkswagen without admiring the Karmann Ghia. |
Posted by: Drew Jul 31 2009, 06:35 AM |
I see mentioning of air-cooled dubs!! Porsche fuchs are so baller volksrods rock. |
Posted by: Shirogane Jul 31 2009, 09:21 AM
On the lines somewhere, most people thought it was too "bland". As if driving a huge VW fitted with the same engine would help. |

Maserati called...they want their MC12 back... |
Posted by: Cyrus430 Jul 31 2009, 10:00 AM |
Did somebody say MC12? Oh man I have to throw these in here.. sure they're British and not very fast compared to some other cars here, but man they're sexy... OH YEAH! I went there... |
Posted by: Spaz Jul 31 2009, 10:00 AM |
I'll start with pics I've taken myself: Friend's 2.3L FP Red powered 450awhp Talon. Forgive the lack of a great shot, can't do much more than point and shoot while driving. Friend's Evo VIII time attack car. Took FTD at that event. Friend's 380whp Z32. Got a little too sideways in that corner, didn't help that his rear tires were down to metal on the inside. MMmm, dirty STi OMNIOMNIOMNI. Shit's seriously fast. |

Posted by: peemyTNBow Aug 1 2009, 05:06 PM |
I wish the old guys in charge at mazda would dump that car at least for photoshoots. It really looks like a donker in all the shoots because it's at stock ride height. |
Posted by: Drew Aug 1 2009, 06:34 PM |
^Yeah, I know, but that's all it needs. Oh, and where's your pics man? You've got to have shitloads of em from working for SSR! Ah, the Duke's, AKA Isaac Hayes' car from "Escape From NY". It is epic as shit. I love Europas way too much. I will have one eventually. |

I don't believe I asked for rice. Oh by the way... "I just saw a Schigera and I... JIZZED IN MY PANTS" Of course it never made it to production, so I wish I actually saw one... |
Posted by: peemyTNBow Aug 2 2009, 12:02 PM
VIP stuff is 1/2 of the stuff we did at SSR considering our Vienna line is 1/2 of what we did. The people that bought Viennas were not cheapasses and had taste in aggressive fitment lol. If you don't like it, that's not my problem I ended up resigning from my job at SSR to try to pursue something bigger (my own business), school, and trying to find a local part time job that's not automotive related & that pays decent. I still have most of the pictures, catalogues, and everything from my old job though. |

VW Type 34 is awesome ^Camaro known as "The Mule";twin-turbo small block that makes 1000+ hp I've got a major sweet spot for notchback Mustangs; especially '66s. EDIT: I am now allowing for comments on the cars. I figure it's okay to do so, even if you don't have pics. |

Okay, since no one posted up anything for it, I present some pics for 8/6, AKA hachiroku day. The only day that the AE86 is celebrated for. A little late I know, but what the heck. This look is just so classy. IMO, it's better than the Watanabe RS8s in certain cases. flat black works on this car, not on a Lamborghini or a Rolls however... I dunno about you guys, but I think this guy's rim choice is pretty cool. I just like the shot in this one with the exposure. Happy (belated) hachiroku day everyone!!! |

Posted by: Alex Aug 9 2009, 07:02 PM |
I've read on other forums people discussing how sick they finally are of these retarded bodykits. They compared it to those kinda wedge shaped legos, and I couldn't agree more. |
Posted by: Drew Aug 9 2009, 07:10 PM |
Okay, guys let's end the discussion of rice right here. This thread's about love, not hate. Man, I wish I was at Bonneville this week. Ferrambo=sex |
Posted by: peemyTNBow Aug 9 2009, 07:49 PM |
BN Sports was the only company that IMO did the "drifter" body kit style right. Even then i never was a fan of their rear hula skirt bumpers. I like the fitment on the red FC with the VS-KFs though. Another assortment of "Dope" Stuff: Some pictures i took from Japan in July 08. Wangan Runs/Meets from Jan 08/July 08. |

The TE37's on this one are a bit overkill for my taste, but it's a damn fine piece of work. And while I'm on the subject of wheels. Massive Dish. Fronts are 18x8 -38, Rears are 18x10 -36. I'm a fan of wheels that have enough dish to fit a soda can into. |
Posted by: peemyTNBow Aug 9 2009, 08:28 PM |
That S15 is pretty damn good. It's a street car and is setup as such. My favorite Z car. Panasport G7s 17 x 10 - 45 (235/45/17) 17 x 11 - 70 (255/40/17) |

13--- Oh yeah! That's a nice GTO... but the hood can GTFO... maybe even the wing... Might as well contribute since i'm here lol I like this car... i'd like to just sit in it someday... I ACTUALLY got to drive the Ford GT 2 years ago Just like this one.. same wheels and color... I will forever want this car... who cares if it's not the best or whatever... it's sexy in so many ways... Probably the car with the best doors EVER! And to finish it off... a civilized grocery getter... sort of ^^^Oh yeah! Take THAT. Getting beat by a wagon with crazy horsepower and groceries in the back! |
Posted by: Drew Aug 13 2009, 04:19 PM |
Ford Falcon FTW. mandatory in this post. Blower switches are so damn sexy... ...Even if it's fake. Holden = Ford's arch rival. holden torana holding the wheels up gives Mad Max a run for his money. f**k you GM for screwing us over. Now you give us the "Chevy Volt", of which you lie about the mpg? For shame. /rant |

Acura TL Type S (left) and TL A-Spec (right) |
Posted by: Drew Aug 13 2009, 05:57 PM |
I'd rather a TSX... that's one reason... ...another... ...aaaaaand another but I do like this veddy much. |
Posted by: Tessou Aug 13 2009, 06:11 PM |
My issue with the TSX is that it has no sport model to differentiate it from the base models. If there was a TSX-S we'd be in business, but there isn't. I don't understand why Acura made a Type S for the RSX and TL, but not their entry level car... |
Posted by: BlackSubaru Aug 13 2009, 06:22 PM |
cause iyts an entry level car. u start with that, and in 2-3 years when your lease is up, you get a sportier more expensive model. |
Posted by: Tessou Aug 13 2009, 06:26 PM |
^ The Honda Civic is an entry level car and they have the Si. It's not too shabby, either. |
Posted by: MidnightViper88 Aug 13 2009, 06:41 PM |
Careful; Models doesn't matter but looks so, so let's keep this shit above average and in the dope level with the cars to keep this thread safe from the mundane... Here's my quick pick of Mustangs for the moment... |
Posted by: Hachi_Roku Aug 13 2009, 08:24 PM |
Love them Mustangs, and the TSX even more (but if anyone's got any TL pics, share pls.), dunno why I like the TSX so much, it's just a nice car to look at, up until the latest model with the god-awful grille. |
Posted by: Tessou Aug 13 2009, 08:35 PM |
^ Agreed on that last bit. Dunno what Honda/Acura is smoking when it comes to car design. The new 2010 lineup designs look like absolute shit compared to the last generation. WHAT Let's not forget little brother TSX... |

Posted by: Hachi_Roku Aug 16 2009, 06:27 PM |
I honestly can't get enough of the Nissan Stagea. Lack of standard-looking pics kinda bug me, but the R34 front-converted ones aren't that bad either. It kicks ass to be in Canada, by the time I can be starting a family, they'll be legal here. |
Posted by: Drew Aug 16 2009, 07:07 PM |
Oh, has anyone seen this yet? Looks like your regular old S13 240sx but check what's under the hood... got an idea yet? Buick straight 8 power baby. It sure does beat any RB25 or SR20 swap that I've seen in originality. This car was built to run in the XO/GALT class, or the vintage, unblown gas category at Bonneville. It's hit over 235 mph on the salt. End of story, I love this car. |

Once again, stop calling me that, dammit... and as to where? speedhunters, autoblog, other random car blogs... Tesso shouldn't have traded his Z in.... take note NismoTime; this is how you do it. I bet if anything; a lot of swearing went into this project. that's all for today, kiddies. |

Good greif, then people call me crazy for saying 'stick an RB in it'. Really nice Z32. Real scary concept of not being able to fit a finger in there. |
Posted by: peemyTNBow Aug 18 2009, 10:33 AM |
That motor doesn't look like it was that hard to build. They probably YANKED everything out, rebuilt it to spec, and dropped it in. And, Pentroof knows what they are doing with the Z32, just like ESCORT Racing. |

dude, those six-lug wheels are the shit. I've seen em on a race-spec Lotus Europa decked out in full Castrol guise. well, Nisei happened a while ago...anyone go? I didn't, but Speedhunters did... colored engine bay = new fad? ^This is why DA-model Integras are so hot right now... Pure evil SC430 is evil. uhh...WTF??? ^ $20 in Bison Bucks says that diamond rims/poorly widened steel rims are gonna be the new ricer fad. holy hell... I think this guy and I agree on something...splitters>>>>bodykits. just showing the potential of the Accord Coupe. and now, the infamous Phaze2 Civi...You either love it, or hate it; TBH, it doesn't look too terrible IMHO |

Actually, there was never a TSX Type-S. The USDM 1st gen TSX was the Japanese/Euro spec Accord Type S. The only "sporty" version of the TSX you could get for the 1st gen was the TSX with A-Spec package (body kit, wheels/tires, suspension work). The current, 2nd gen TSX comes in 4-banger only model for 2009, with the addition of a V6 model for 2010 (J35 3.5L V-6 from base 4th gen TL/3rd gen TL-S, revised suspension to deal with the added weight, slightly revised brakes, 18x8 wheels shod with 235/45 R18 Michelin Pilot HX MXM4 tires). And since people want more pics of 3rd gen TLs, I could post pics of the TL-S I drive...but that would be against the rules. |

That's not even half a joke.
The red pinstripe and the lip make this look so hot. And now to share some stuff from a branch of one of my new favorite blogs. I'm going to wear out this thread with pics from this site so fast. It's not updated as much as Speedhunters. Actually, the deeper I go, I start finding some familiar pics. Drew, I think we have some of the same sources! |

Oh come on. Why do you have to b*tch so much? Fatlace in general is sweet. HellaFlush has style, and I pick out my favorites. Don't b*tch and moan about the site in general like I'm going to post the rusty BMW with the ratty trailer. |

Nah, I see shit from those sites everywhere. Betting that 90% of the users here use those sites too. |
Posted by: peemyTNBow Aug 19 2009, 09:45 PM |
Because people like them. They have character, they have style. Not everyone wants their car to look like a stock POS with some ROTA wheels with springs. Not saying everyone needs to run hellaflush fitment, but most cars are street cars with real street miles, uses, and purposes. |

Noo, I mean, just the same pictures over and over and over again haha. |

I'm pretty sure there hasn't been a single picture, much less a single car posted more than once in here (save for the Corolla someone just showed older pictures of, but that was a totally legit post). |

No arguments. Sure this maybe a discussion board, but dopeness is a state of mind and a matter of opinion, not a reason to troll the hell out of others because you disagree. Apparently your reading comprehension isn't that great. I'm not going to engage into an argument with you after this post since I actually understand what I read. I will however stay on topic and dedicate this next picture to you. I hope you take advantage of it the next time it comes to your area since it would be geared more towards your level that an Internet forum might be. http://imgcake.com |

Posted by: Hachi_Roku Aug 21 2009, 10:22 AM
I'd hate to argue in this thread, but the car looks CLEANER with those wheels. Honestly, you fail for saying the car needs bigger wheels. VIP does NOT always mean you have to put on bastard 20-inch wheels and have it dropped so low that the oil pan constantly scrapes the ground. I've seen pics of the car as the guy cleared it from customs, it was rolling on standard VIP wheels that didn't look good (actually looked worse) with the car. Anyways it was the owners choice that he used the work wheels from his old GT-R. This was the car with the wheels it first had. The Works it has now are 18x10 anyways. This doesn't look as good IMO. |
Posted by: MattW Aug 21 2009, 10:32 AM |
See, to me that looks much better, just needs to be lowered a bit more. |
Posted by: Hachi_Roku Aug 21 2009, 10:42 AM |
It's been lowered more since that picture was taken (those pics I posted earlier were as of a couple days ago, and has been lowered), but to me, it looks really generic. Most VIP cars I see almost always have those wheels, or something similar. |

Oh, the wonderful things you can do with a wide-angle lens. And also, f**k YEAH GLH! |

That F40 and McF1 made my jaws drop. Is that BMW an M3 CSL? Those headlights look like they came off an X5/6. I like it and don't at the same time. Lately I've developed a great liking for classic Lotuses. Specifically the Elan. Makes Miatas look like pigs in comparison. For the lulz: But really, that's awesome. A nice tribute to the car that inspired it. |
Posted by: Drew Sep 26 2009, 10:03 PM
Elans are awesome, but how bout some 7 lovin? The early models rule, but so do the caterham 7s. |
Posted by: Fast Sep 26 2009, 10:33 PM |
Sevens are indeed awesome. I will have a Caterham before I die. A Superlight like that would be sweet, but if I find them too unnerving or simply can't afford one, a Roadsport will suffice. And here's another classic Lotus; The Europa or what I like to call the Elan Ute. This one has a Mazda Rotary engine swap: |
Posted by: Rudy Sep 27 2009, 10:33 AM |
Love the Europa. Too bad the new one never made it to production. |
Posted by: Fast Sep 27 2009, 12:26 PM
The new one did in fact make it to production. They've been sold since 2006 but not in the US. |
Posted by: Shirogane Sep 27 2009, 05:49 PM
-Sigh- Though we still got the Evora.... See if you can spot a trend here (Apart from the fact that they're M-B Saloons.) SD's are dope. And... So are SELs. |

Saw this built on an old Toyota forum I frequent. Guy did this all from his own garage (except the driveshaft) for 7k in about 7 months. Dude loved to repaint it though... Went from this... To this.... |
Posted by: Drew Sep 27 2009, 09:01 PM |
^That man = my hero. I have the utmost respek of people who can build rides like that for dirt-cheap. |

this thread has pretty much at this point become the title of it i would have to say |
Posted by: Fast Sep 28 2009, 04:14 PM |
Some wild Subarus Probably the best "hawkeye" I've ever seen. I love the Zerosports front bumper. That guy plans to put on a new bumper but I found the lack of bumper amusing and somewhat appealing. Reminds me of drift cars. The CCWs were shopped on but look great on the car. The same car as above. GRs look awesome with huge wheel fitments. Chargespeed rear bumper I think. It has an integrated diffuser! |

That last Scooby there is just Godly...nothing needs to be done to it that would improve it's looks. This car has got to be one of my favorite Lupos of all time; just check this video and tell me that this car doesn't sing the song to open the gates into Hell itself. /opinion

Holy shit that Suzuki is beastly...reminds me of the guy who put a blown 351 into an early 60s Bronco and then tubbed it! EDIT: This is just oo good not to post... RSX on Evo IX rims...is surprisingly a good looker of a car. =win Those rims are the shit. Civi Wagon = Mos Def Fresh. |

Thread pinned for being awesome. ( Actually, OP requested ). |

Yay for the sticky. |
Posted by: Drew Oct 3 2009, 08:43 AM |
Just saw this on HF...what do you guys think?? It's cool and all, and it's a very under-ultilized chassis. Kinda sucks that the Focus is lumped in with the general ricer crowd. S2K = car pron. |
Posted by: Rudy Oct 6 2009, 07:30 PM |
Couldn't get better pix of it, but it's a lifted-ass ex-military truck. The guy went through about 4 or 5 gears just going through the parking lot. It looks like it could ford its way through the Red Sea, it's so high. DOPE. |
Posted by: MidnightViper88 Oct 6 2009, 09:11 PM |
I've now fallen under the impression that dope cars should implicitly include dope photography... To that extent, here is some stuff from http://couleur.deviantart.com/gallery/'s deviantART gallery And now for some of http://dejz0r.deviantart.com/gallery/'s gallery |
Posted by: Rudy Oct 6 2009, 11:08 PM
Well excuse me for only having roughly 30 seconds to get away with it on shift before the next drive-thru customer pulled up. >_< |

Sorry about that. >_< |

Hmm, Fat-ass Soarer with Bad-ass Supras? (Yes, someone literally changed my mind somehow) Hmm..... Though it would be kind of ironic if the original 3UZ is still there. With it's 4.3 L Displacement. |
Posted by: Rudy Oct 7 2009, 06:37 PM |
No, dude. Supra with SC430 nose. |
Posted by: Drew Oct 7 2009, 09:12 PM |
Well how bout NA Supra? hellz yea. If it didn't cost as much as a five-year-younger used M3, MKIV>MKIII IMO. 3.0 NA 2JZ with 300 natural horses. Kindof sucks, but it's still badarse that someone would tackle this specific setup IMO. IN OTHER NEWS.... 510s sucka. bosozuku/yanki style FTW. I restate my argument. "Shakotan" Z...I sense that the next gen of OG builds will probably be like this.... this license plate just plain f**king rocks. |
Posted by: Shirogane Oct 8 2009, 09:46 AM
If there was no cocky MKIV Drivers. ^Are 1100 Convi's this high? ^LOL ^ I LOOOOVVEEE the Ragtops. And this one's in Seattle. |

Please try to make some intelligent posts for once. WTF does the level and technology of a car have to do with the person who chose to buy it? The C6 ZR1 is better in every way than a C4 ZR1 but i guess that because more pricks own a C6 that means the C4 is better? Fail. The MKIII is a nice car and has potential, but it has some shortcomings, and there is NO question about it, the JZA80 is a better car and performance platform out of the box. |
Posted by: Shirogane Oct 8 2009, 12:30 PM
Touche, but no effect. Nice try. If you want to see some intellegent posts from me, it ain't going to happen, no matter how much flaming you do. |
Posted by: Drew Oct 8 2009, 01:54 PM |
so you just completely admitted that you're an idiot? |
Posted by: Shirogane Oct 8 2009, 04:27 PM
Nope. Not at all. If I was, I would have called someone else an idiot. If people like to continue this, it's going to be hard when I'm not taking part of this sh*tstorm. |
Posted by: Rudy Oct 8 2009, 05:43 PM
You kinda just suggested you were either lacking intelligence or are a troll... |
Posted by: Shirogane Oct 8 2009, 07:40 PM
I did that on purpose, but having no intention to have either effect. Just getting BMW to back off and calm the hell down. |
Posted by: Alex Oct 8 2009, 08:25 PM
UHH.... Anyway... |
Posted by: Drew Oct 8 2009, 08:41 PM |
Man, do I love Smurf Blue Miatas. Car above is the same car below... More LS1 god mode; I think this car might be the inspiration/was inspired by the Miata you posted. more evidence in my BBS RS theorem. they can handle, but don't forget that they are still hoon-able. Yoshi...use this as inspiration.... an' this. |

Today's theme is old-school; more shizz from the JCCS this time from my new favorite blog, Japanese Nostalgic Car! Check em out if you get the chance!!! stock rockin '79 Honda Prelude is nice. pure sex. Mitsu Lancer Celeste. Nice KPGC110... shoulda swapped in an LS1.... FJ20ET FTW!!! Lovin' it!! I <3 this sticker!!! on the 'Dat Rod'...which is boss as hell btw... loving the theme on this 510 "wagon". this celica is fecking nuts; has a 700 horse 1JZ swap and will be repainted a schweet gloss black. OG Wapanese Whips are the shit. |
Posted by: Hachi_Roku Oct 12 2009, 06:01 PM |
Last one is some X7 Cressida lovin' right there...but something about the wheels doesn't fit for me. |
Posted by: Fast Oct 12 2009, 06:24 PM |
I'm loving that Ken and Mary GT-R. Only if it didn't have that dumb windshield visor E30 M3s FTW. Another car I want before I die. And the E9x M3 has grown on me considerably since it's debut. Now I like them quite a bit. |
Posted by: Drew Oct 13 2009, 02:15 PM
Quite possibly the most amazing pic ever ahead...
/thread battle damage ftw. |
Posted by: Drew Oct 20 2009, 07:31 PM |
Do Work Son. Hardbody pron for ya. Also, some pics my friend took form a local vintage event at my hometrack. what's this?? A jersey-plate wearing Accord Sedan that's built well you say? I call Shenanigans! This was there too BTW... nasty MGB GT with a tuned Rover V8. there it is again. Man, do I hate being cooped up here. I missed the R8!!! THE F*CKING R8!!!!! R8!!!! |

One of the meanest looking STIs I've ever seen. Check out those tires and wheels! Probably the most aggressive wheel fitment I've seen on a STI without aftermarket fenders. Goddamn. Normally I'm not a fan of stretch n poke but that Legacy looks fantastic |
Posted by: Rudy Oct 22 2009, 02:16 PM |
That STi with the FMIC baffles me. I guess he hasn't put an Impreza hood on it yet? :/ |
Posted by: peemyTNBow Oct 22 2009, 04:02 PM |
If the car is an STi, then he already has the Hood with the big scoop. He maybe just realized that front mount is a lot more efficient for high horsepower than a top mount. |
Posted by: Fast Oct 22 2009, 04:34 PM
It's not like he has to put on a base Impreza hood (which is actually heavier). The stock hood still directs cold air into the engine bay so its not completely non-functional. |
Posted by: Rudy Oct 22 2009, 07:20 PM
Ah. My resolve to that would be an OE-style cf hood for Imprezas. But then again, I've seen an STi visually 'detuned' to a 2.5i and thought it was absolutely friggin badass. The intercooler was even painted flat black. Total sleeper. |
Posted by: Drew Oct 23 2009, 05:53 PM |
No pics have surfaced in the last few posts. This thread is low on fuel!!! Old-school Funny Cars are just mad cool. sooooooooo mad fresh. |
Posted by: Fast Oct 24 2009, 10:03 AM |
Concerning sleeper STIs (i.e. STIs with 2.5i exterior), while the purpose and intent behind them is indeed badass they simply look way too dull and even more appliance-like for my liking. In my book, at least the hoodscoop has to stay on an turbo Subaru (whether or not the owner changed to a FMIC). I consider it to be of greater importance and more symbolic than the decklid parkbench. Here's 3 white beauties... That NSX made my pants feel smaller. I'm liking the IS-F more and more. I say it looks way better than the E92 M3. Only if it had the M3's dynamics... |
Posted by: Drew Oct 25 2009, 04:50 PM |
Today's theme; continued from Fast's post. All white/white-ish cars!!! c-c-c-c-combo breaker!!! ...however, it would be 10X more cooler if they were actual TE37s. |
Posted by: Fast Oct 25 2009, 08:26 PM |
Nice-Those Honda hatches made me want to post these: Most, if not all of them have K-series motors swapped into them. |
Posted by: Drew Oct 26 2009, 06:02 PM |
"The cars that Ate Paris" is such an awesome movie. sensing a theme? movies with cars ftw. EDIT: One more thing... no engine you ever post will be as badass as this motherfsucker. Oh, and how about some bikes? They can be dope. |

Posted by: Drew Nov 7 2009, 01:53 PM |
Oh and I almost forgot; it is/was SEMA Week this past week... I just love this xB's look; bosozuku/Old-school JDM. Rally Fighter; pure badassedry. the insanity of the Fairlane Afterburner... the visors on this thing are just f**king crazy-like thew rest of this car!!! 13B-powered Miata...needs better rims. your mustache must be this 1970s to ride this ride. the Block STi Trax car in that most recent DC vid. wat BOWLS' built xB...is awesome the Leno Camaro which got everyone all excited over it possibly being the next Z28. the Trans-Cammer Mustang; won the GT award this year...and it so f**king deserves it. TBH, I could keep posting tons of shit here, but if you Google SEMA or go onto autoblog/jalopnik you will fins tons of stuff onnit. EDIT: I lied; but this time it's not about SEMA; it's about the coolest conversion I've seen in a long time. M5 Ute. It hits all the right nerves and is too badass to put into words. this is the first time I believe of posting the actual build pics to one car, but it's just too cool to see how exactly he achieved this!!! Now THAT'S craftsmanship; all steel, no Bondo. had to be braced as f**k to allow it to handle as well as it's 4-door counterpart.... so fukken cool. |
Posted by: lotteman Nov 10 2009, 05:49 PM |
Dope car, dope photography. |
Posted by: Drew Nov 10 2009, 06:12 PM |

Lada... dose rims... make me lol. CONTROVERSEY. sure douches drive em, but who cares when one's stanced the f**k out like this? American Badass. |
