I only first touched an ID machine about a 3 weeks ago (ID3)! ><
The nearest ID4 machine to me is about.. 60km away (over an hours drive).. I have played it a few times, it seems to be a lot more.. advanced than ID3.
ID4 here costs $3 a play, $3 to continue.. ID3 is still and I think will always be $2 at my arcade.. I've never seen any arcade games but the older ones like street fighter and mortal kombat ($1) cheaper than that $2 mark round these parts..
How the hell do you guys get 50cent games!! >< crying2.gif

it depends where you play, the country and location ie quiet arcades where there isnt too much interest left in v3. hope you can find one of those places

@BDDEE: Oh man, last time I did that was July or something... I just know that CP1 is 41"7, with personal best 41"552. XD

As long as CP2, 3, and 4 are under 40... you'll probably get 39. biggrin.gif

Haven't played V3 in 3 months now... But don't see myself play V4 anytime soon either >_>

Still got some goals I wanna accomplish... but its hard to stay motivated after such a long hiatus.

meh v4 is a different game... but once u get used to switching from v3 to v4 and v4 to v3 u can go back to v3 without losing acquired skills that you have developed.... i frequently switch from id2 mt3 id3 and id4 every week and have no problems except my v3 line isnt as tight as it used to be as when i played that mainly cuz i retired for a while

Still stuck on ver3 since Hawaii won't be getting a ver4 machine for a while plus most of our arcades won't hook up the online battling sad.gif . But I love playing ver3 since I only started summer of 06 and wanted to bring my iro dh to at least 2'57 happy.gif .

The closest ID4 to me is more than a city away... so I'm playing the ID3 that's 100 yards from my house until they replace it(never). Oh well.

Can't wait for the experience of ID4 though.

It's pretty fun. I think I liked v.3 better tho. Maybe. But they took out the v.4 in our arcade. I think they said cuz they were shipping them to the arcade in San Francisco. Bummer. But we still have v.3 machines in the two local arcades plus the movies.

The cool thing about my place is: The ID3 machines here are so affordable... .75 per game, .50 to continue. lol. I love it... I went to the Powerhouse once, and saw people playing the game, I went over to check... 1.50 to play, 1.00 to continue. WTF?

over here in san francisco, in da beginning of 07 summer it wuz like 50 cents per game, 50 cents continue. now its a dollar per game, 50 cents continue...

but do u guys think dat dey will take out v3 machines and replace em with v4? IMO, i think not becuz due to da fact u cant transfer v3 to v4, there are still alotta v3 players so v4 is still kinda lonely. and v4 cost 2 dollars per game, and 5 dollars per card...and uh btw, is the v4 cards plastic?

IDAS 4 has made its way to the Philippiness since last year.., played it a few times, i was surprised to see that the number of tracks has decreased (from the original 9 in Ver. 3, only 4 made to the list in IDAS 4), also the number of cars has decreased (the Lancer Evo family line has been cut off, only the III, IV and IX appear).., compared its game engine with Ver. 3.., the graphics are nice, just like the anime..,

over here, one game in IDAS Ver. 3 cost about 6-12 pesos (about 1/7 to 1/3
of a US dollar grin2.gif ) and one card costs about 6 pesos.., in IDAS 4, one game costs about 28 pesos (more than 1/2 of a US dollar) and a card costs at around 110 pesos (more than 2 US dollars) playing IDAS Ver.3 in here is cheap, but getting addicted to IDAS 4 will get you broke laugh.gif ..,

so where does my vote for the better IDAS go?? VEr. 3!!! w00t2.gif

i think, like most players here, will play IDAS Ver. 3 for a long time to come.., grin2.gif
