Just like the topic title above, what is the difference between them blink.gif ?? ok besides the language... like can i play a Japanese ver. card on a english ver. machine... or the english machine got handbrakes dry.gif ...

Aside from language, none.

English version cards only on English version machines, and Japanese on Japanese version; can't cross them.

Neither one has handbrakes.

Gameplay is totally the same. Hope that helps.

The japanese initial d arcade stage machines have access to record races with a usb, or any other recording devices. Of course w/ permission of store owner

Actually, this lead me thinking (although it doesn't really matter much now) - does this mean the English version machines do not have this "feature"?

It is all hardware differences :

Japanese one has padded seats, US doesn't.
Japanese one has a nicer screen, the US screen is not that good.

Can't remember anything else...

I think the Japanese version also has video outputs for recording directly from the cab instead of using a camera to record.

Which would be a nice addition to the US cabinets because cam recordings always have glare or background noise...ah well...
